That would be YouTube gold right there. go for it, you'd probably make at least $1,000 off of ads from that video.

and: both d3 and poe are nothing more than gear checks hidden behind thinner or thicker veil of pretended skill
want skill? play civ4 on emperor or better - play quake3 with GOOD player.
skills means little in both poe and d3. in poe this is aggravated by desync that eliminates reactionary play and twitch reactions because.. well.. nothing is where you think it is

You so clueless is not even funny. You can easy spot a good experience player to an average one. The min/max good player will make builds that borderline break the game and he would know anything about the game including crafting, how many prefix and affix can you get on a blue, yellow item? etc the list is incredible long in POE and thats why not many people get the best items or reach the highest lvl or maps in poe. And btw a skilled player can also avoid desync completly.
So before you come here and say there is no skill maybe you start to l2p because as we can see on you post there is clearly a huge skill curve you haven't reached yet. And its funny is always the standard players who say there is no skill in poe. Ohh really as a HC player poe is one of the hardest game I ever played and I consider myself a skilled and experience player but there is still so much i need to learn.
The skill curve in path of exile is not reaction based is something much harder to perfect. is a logical thinking game that involves alot of thought and planning. And ontop of that you need to invest in alot of time to truly understand all the mechanics. Its basically alot like chess since its really the same part of the brain you need to perfect to be good at both games. If you a good poe player you will be good at chess also

ya there are no nerfs in POE are there. oh wait
the nerfs to poe have been to mostly balance the game so players dont run around and cheese it up...
the diablo 3 nerfs basically destroyed any challenge the game had and as i stated, made the end boss diablo a joke...

in the end, both games are button mashers...
the main difference though is that diablo 3 has VERY little diversity and ability to personalize, theory craft etc...
as i said in my previous post...i played a monk in d3, so anyone who played d3 could easily figure out what my build was...which is a joke
where as POE is not a noob friendly game and has a HUGE learning curve, when compared to d3
i never played d2 but have heard many people say that poe is what d3 shouldve been...and can understand why they make the comparison...because in my experience, d3 and poe are nothing alike.
EDIT:
i will also say that defeating diablo before the nerfs was probably one of my most satisfying gaming experiences ever...in fact, it was probably more satisfying than the time id spent playing poe...it took almost a month of non-stop playing for me to defeat him and i was the first to do it on my friends list of 40+ (this is sc too).
there were so many things that couldve 1 shot you...especially in a4
...
in that regard, i dont think poe has offered any experience close to the initial launch of diablo 3..
my negative view of the diablo 3, however, is view on how far its fallen off since its release and how its lost any sense of challenge...where as poe, although its not as challenging as d3 was pre 1.03, it has maintained a very constant level of difficulty throughout the 10 months ive been playing it

with self found gear it still is not a joke. same as in poe.
this is the same as with poe - you have good gear, you are OP and faceroll the content. if you have trash gear - you wont pass cruel
skill can give or take few % of general success factor. nothing more. if your 1h is 300dps+ - game will be easy. if your 1h is like 120dps+ - no amount of skill and 'logic' will help you out. gear check. both games have it
difference is d3 facilitated trading thus made process of gearing in top gear easier. poe tried to avoid that - but given that there is no alternative to trading (please - no bs about 'crafting') people will clench their fists and trade. because playing self found is possible for gear independent builds like trapper/EK. try that with wander. good luck. no skill will help you do the gear check: is your wand ok? if it is - your build works. if it isnt - buy a good wand. where is the skill in that?

not true..
i beat diablo 3 with only self found/crafted gear in hardcore (after 1.05) and it was a complete joke, which is when i finally stopped playing...this is something i couldnt do before the nerfs and i died plenty...
the game is just too easy now and act 4 was a complete joke

haha, do you know how to craft?
ive been running a few builds out there and crafting my own items...
if i need resists or more dps, ill farm a certain area, get the ilvl i need, hit the suffix/prefix bracket i need, and hopefully roll it
im guessing youve never really played the shorter term races in poe but understanding the mechanics of these things gives you a HUGE advantage over people who dont
this game is a lot deeper than you seem to be understanding it because if you really understood the crafting system, i dont think youd be trading as much to get ahead.

Thing is, gear has never been what kept me from progress in PoE.
Hell, I'll take a gear check as a gate any day, when that gear check means I can then at least try to punch above my weight.
In PoE, you punch below your weight, because that is all that is accessible, while slowly outgearing even the gated content.
Unless you group and trade heavily, which then trivialises what could be a challenge any way.
Fuck me, accessible, progressively harder content, be it pure gear check or not, is hands down a better design than this ridiculous PoE currency sink, shopping, group-trivialising, gated end game.
Casually casual.
