Still got a smile on my face from that armour. lol. Broke a 5L just screwing around. Got it. Oh, and to somewhat back on topic. Whether or not it takes 19 or 2k. Once you get it, you're always happy. Because it feels like you "beat" the odds. Usually, it's an ordeal that one must overcome. Through farming and trading for countless hours. So much despair, so little hope, than BAM. A grin comes across your face, you link it in chat. Feeling so happy that the deed is done. Having this be a "sure thing" no matter the cost. Will ruin how unique these items are. Never mind the fact that even if they do become "a dime a dozen" in default a year down the road. Making your own is always better and more rewarding. I think i'm done with this game. 60 fusings down in my case for no 5 link and only two 4 links.
What a waste of time. The currency system in this game is a fantastic idea but the 100% rng approach is baffling considering the thought that was obviously put in this game. I am a lvl 67 and I drop a chaos orb into an item and get MH weapon rare back with +19 str, +20% fire resist. Why is it pointlessly random? I love the dungeon grinder games and I don't want this to get nerfed into the floor like loot was in WoW but cmon... there needs to be a baseline so when I trade for a chaos orb or a fusing, i don't feel like I just got buttrammed. Honestly, fusings aren't even the worst part, consider how terrible the RNG is with the other enchantment items... Most of the currency is severely overvalued and it's only a matter of time before items are used to trade like SOJ in D2. |

Are you seriously complaining about 60 fusings? Jeez. Most of us spend hundreds and come up with nothing. And you're nercoing a thread filled with responses from people in my group, including the everlucky Slurms. Fucking asshole, still rolling awesome gear for a fraction of the price D:

i cant buy a good 6 link with orbs and i wasted several hundreds orbs....
i wasted all my ingame "money" for a try to get a usable item for maps. all i got is a half armour and my lvl. nice game but it is boring to waste all items. nobody sells good items beacuse they are so rare. good system but i want useable items for my 1hand mace melee ;) please fix this. |

" i spent a lot of time and got no useable items. i even cant buy some. i like to have fun ingame and no "whole life working on a good item". im playing 1hand melee and its nearly impossible to level or do maps alone. my alternate char is now totem build, because i dont need items for it. i can use 5link or even 4 link and its still playable. i do 2k single tagert with 4link including life leech on lvl 75. and i wasted all my orbs and i have no option to get this char working. this needs to be changed. My build is extremely powerful with dual leech gems on a 5L. I do more damage with 3 support gems than almost anyone else does... And I don't use totems to do my dirty work and I don't hide behind minions either.

I havnt read this whole thread so i dunno if this idea is posted or not.
The chance for 6L is extremely low yes, but i think that chance should grow by a percentage with each fuse used in the one sitting, like the initial may be sumthing like 0.1 % chance, then each fuse you use on a particular item increases the chance for that particular item to get more links, For example: each fuse could add 0.1 % chance increase, so 49 fuses would result in that item gaining 4.9 % chance of getting 6L plus the initial chance would give a 5% chance. (I dont know the actual chances of rolling a 6L, id say its far lower than my example) This chance level could be maxed but i think if you spend 1000 fuses on an item then you should get a 6L or at least a gauranteed 5L. |
