GGG Please Figure out how to stop Boosting (screenshots included)

WOW you guys are fucking assholes. DDT is a competitive guy who wants to win (or take second to his teammate) and he understands that in order to do this he will need to boost. He's been honest and open saying that boosting should be fixed but until then he knows it's what he needs to stay in it.

I can speak from actual experience as most of you assholes who are bitching the most about boosting haven't tried to take top ten in these races, well in the 1 week race on default I took 8th, my teammate 6th and my other teammate 11th. We used no boosters at all during this time and even ran as a trio which serious racers know that this is worse exp compared to duo.

In the one month race it became clear that the only way to compete with boosters were to get some yourself, one of my teammates did so but I still chose to run solo most of the time. Until 2 days ago I was in the top ten the entire month and even when I did run with the boosters there were only 2 boosters w/ 3 players compared to people doing 2 players and 4 boosters we were still at a handicap.

So you guys who are crying foul play just don't want to put in the time to get to the top regardless of what action GGG takes to prevent or allow boosting, so just shut the fuck up already about it. This is the first month race that I've seen since I started so until now no one has had an excuse for not being able to get top ten playing completely legit. Oh, let's keep in mind that even the top 5 (HC specifically) is full of guys who ONLY RUN RACES! Do you think without boosters you really have a shot against people like Panda, Fayded and DDT? Give me a fucking break.

I respect DDT way more than most of you guys because he has the balls admit he's using boosters and then try to find a solution to it rather than pretending he isn't like many people are.

tl;dr stop blaming boosters for your inability to get a demigod. You don't want to put in the time and effort it takes to beat serious racers.

MrDDT and I have had our differences in this thread, but I totally agree. He's being upfront about it, and giving suggestions on how to fix it. What more can you ask for? Someone who has tested an exploit extensively is the best person to listen to advice from (and for the record, I've been boosting since discharge was more than just viable, which was quite a while ago).

I dont boost and i am in 5th spot on hc ladder. i am putting effort in and to do it without boosting. so take your insults and go back to default. there is no justification for it no matter what reasons you give. At least IMO.

THAT IS SO NOT TRUE! Me, Donkey and Wytch run the whole stupid retarded race playing together adding different people like jerk and midmaz and others who are a bit lower on the ladder to the party and not using even one stupid retarded booster, this way both me and Wytch made it deep into the top 10. Hell I was constantly top 5 for like a week in a row. But then some people just started to be way to insolent. The race just become one big joke about who can boost his lame ass the most. I'm absolutely certain some individuals would've never made it in top 10 if not for this "legal cheating". Others would've never had the chance to compete for 2nd or ever be in top5.
P.S. Ye, I'm bitching, but you know what, I couldn't care less about your opinion. Boosting=Cheating IMO. Njoy you fair won rewards!

Moos, this is such flawed logic.

Because others are cheating I have to cheat too to be able to compete? No. People complaining have the moral high ground here and you are just trying to justify your own boosting then I guess.

Don't go for top 10 then if you have to exploit and cheat your way up there. But I guess this is just modern mentality and not exclusive to a game. The end justifies any means.

Anyone using these exploits does not deserve to be anywhere near the top of the game. They are not skilled in any way. The poster before me shows that you can be on top without being an absolute asshole. Mad respect for that.

I honestly do not get the devs stance on this. I would randomly go around and delete boosting toons I catch. I know this from a game I have been alpha testing. It had permadeath and if they caught you botting they might just spawn a horde of enemies right next to you and you could say bye bye to your toon.

This is more or less how the world works though, in general, even if it's not the best way to go about doing things. This is why steroids are banned in sports, and even when they are banned, when certain people cheat, others follow to keep up.

Boosting isn't illegal, so stfu and ignore it. They aren't hurting you, or affecting your gameplay, if they choose to boost, its their own decision. If you're too dumb to figure out how to boost, then you're more then likely to complain about it.

IMO this thread should be deleted, as it serves no purpose other then having people bitch and complain.
