Your questions were simply pedantic for the sake of argument. If you want to nitpick that is fine, but you very well know and understand what the issue is here, and very know what is being questioned. I find every single one of the questions you just posted, irrelevant. Now it is obviously possible that situations like that "can" arise. But, at the same time many of those questions you made are questionable in their intent. And this is about a player benefiting greatly by abusing a system. Clearly you are trying to say that there are many variables that are connected with the issue and it isn't as easy and just doing x or y which to an extent is true. But there are many issues right now that could very well be resolved and the fact is, the very simple fact is there are and have been many players in the top 10 who are using this system for their own personal gain. |

If you don't boost you enjoy throwing time away and hate fun. The game is more fun with the scaled up hp. It's part of the game and not against the rules in any way. It never will be unless they try to make it illegal to have multiple accounts. There's no need to get angry over boosting in Hardcore/Default.
It is bad for races. Sure. I agree completely with that. I don't participate in races because they're at a bad time for me/I don't have time, and I wouldn't be a fan of boosting there but would do it to compete if necessary. It'd be better if partying with real people were more productive than partying with afk characters. Sure. I agree with that too. That's not the reality of the situation, though. Saying your opinion is invalid because you boosted is silly. I have no attachment to boosting. I did it because it'd be stupid not to with how the game works right now. Boosting requires multiple accounts, is somewhat inconvenient, affects ALL PLAY, races, normal leagues and is surely not an intentional "feature", to assume that solo boosters should be advantaged vs legitimate solo or party play is incredibly naive (or worse).
I can boost if I want to because I have introduced a bunch of people to POE that no longer play, they are more than willing to lend me their accounts, I choose not to though, because as I see it, it's simply abuse, trying to explain it away as if it's normal, okay or intended is flawed due to various reasons and issues with it. As it stands, the game is being abused and effectively pay to win for those that are willing to abuse it. You have no argument, don't try. All I can say is that I'm happy this is happening and investigated in closed beta rather than open beta. While I do think MrDDT and others have very valid opinions and suggestions on the matter, I don't feel it gives them license to abuse the systems. |

So what just because he has come forward with the bug and with some possible solutions he should be congratulated for still using an abuse?
