Actually it was all for shits and giggles.
I'm a forum warrior, i was born to post, raised to defend my league. Now my post has been removed, chained and exiled by mods who Ban. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready.

open beta was just there to "grab" more money for same stuff as in closed beta and a lot of people fell into this money-grabbing trick by GGG ...
and the OP is right. they called it open beta but what system, mechanic which was broken during closed beta and open beta did they fix? nothing ... they created more and are going to produce even more fucked up mechanics in 1.0 ... so yeah, instead of fixing known issues to guarantee a stable version they go ahead and introduce new shit which wasnt tested at all by a larger audience .. lol instead of release GGG should just call it open beta 2.0 or something and please dont forget to introduce new supporter packs with identical content so the idiots can buy the same stuff over and over again .... " You got a answer few time what for was open beta. It was most importantly for server testing, the same thing we had before with open weekends. For getting $$$ and also the game lacked content and a whole story, so that was another reason as they could not release it with things like that missing from the game Open beta was never only for balance testing and i will tell you why. Because than the game will never be out of the open beta as they will implement new skills every few weeks, balance tweak it, and have bigger patches/expansions every 4 months to a year. If open beta is for balance testing only than the game will never be released (or any game ever created),as balance will never ever be finished, especially as complex system in PoE. Why is open beta ending? Because the game got enough content and a storyline ending to be considered finalized with enough classes and skill diversity to keep the things interesting. why are you hatin so hard? ggpk defragment much? i run on a laptop from 2005. NO PROBLEMS HERE.
broken uniques? matter of opinion, i gaurantee there are hundreds of players that use items everyday, mainly the casual players. bad balance of gems/ builds?..... the builds are totaly up to you, maybe you just dont know how to use them.... and they adress skill gems constantly.... CONSTANTLY. JUST because you cant think of a special build doesnt mean there arent people out there with builds not posted on the forums for you to copy and hate on later because you cant get the same gear as them. why complain?..... then again why am i reading this.... just another hate speech towards something because you think you should have the end-say in it. Go make your own game, see if anybody likes it. and see how many more people will actually complain over appreciate---- atleast through words. have fun, good luck, as most of what you are saying is pointless, as you will see if you continue to play instead of bash. Why ask Why and start by denying before you have actually tried?
