I don't think... I based my assumptions off of what Chris himself said. People have a very good reason now to believe that Kaom's Heat will become Legacy. Chris himself even said it might become legacy. Proof is in the thread. Now, I know people who have spent a fortune buying their Kaom's Hearts, and I know other players would be mad about people getting to keep their Legacy item. I think that if they decide to nerf all of the Kaom's hearts, they could add an option to people who have the old Kaom's heart to get 35 x pure exalts on standard from an npc if they decide that their new 'nerfed' version is no longer worth their investment (they've even sold for higher than this lately). If they did this, it would be win/win on both sides--for those who bought a Kaom's heart before the nerf, and for those who didn't buy a Kaom's heart already.

And what about Shavronne's Revelation - Which you conveniently ignored?

Or all the other uniques from the race leagues?

Shavronne's Revelation is particularly strong though, not at all some silly twink item like Silverbranch.

I wish he would learn from everquest. Legacy items did not work then (they eventually inflated items to make them pointless and obosolete) and they had to find a strategy that worked.

Its going out of beta. Just balance All uniques and move on. Oh I have a Kaoms so I am screwing myself with this opinion.

Edit: The game was supposed to be hardcore... and now it seems that MAYBE they will give another tally point to the carebares and screw those of us who invested the time and effort to acquire various items--especially BASED ON what Chris himself said.

Note: If they do remove all legacies, there should be a way to reimburse players via a special npc... as I have mentioned before.
