Make these legacy items too plz. Voltaxic rift is best-in-slot for elemental archer. Meaning you can't roll a rare bow that is better than that.

I've tried Voltaxic, it is a substantial downgrade for me.
I can understand it being better if you don't run crit and don't want to scale your DPS up high...But if you are an ele crit build, Voltaxic is pretty trashy.
Low attack speed, low base crit, mediocre dps, doesn't scale well with other elemental types besides lightning.

Downgrade over what? Post the bow that voltaxic rift is a downgrade from.
Voltaxic has an amazing amount of synergy with thunderfist and wake of destruction. I don't care what your tool tab DPS says, chaos damage is simply better than elemental damage, or physical dmg.
If you can shock, you really don't need to crit. 40% chance to shock with voltaxic rift, assuming you grab static blows node + 20q added lightning. So regardless of your tool tab DPS, you're going to hit for a whole lot more than what the tool tab is telling you. Works the same was as with a sporker. My sporker with just an 1100 tool tab drops bosses 2-3x faster than my facebreaker with 22k dps.
You can make an elemental tank archer and get RT, and instead of grabbing crit nodes, you grab more life % nodes.

But it isn't better. Cold damage has the most utility by far, coupled with a high crit chance (frozen mobs deal no damage) - fire damage helps a ton as well.
If you are building around a "reflect proof" build, you would have to avoid getting a lot of these elements or you can RIP to reflect anyways (especially since you are shock stacking stuff).
Mobs also have more chaos resist than you think they do -- GGG did this to prevent things like Poison Arrow from scaling too well.
In addition, you have no way to lower mobs chaos resistance. You have no chaos lowering curse to help you, and you have no gem that would pierce through chaos resist.
As opposed to Ele weakness, which just rapes everything ;)

Its really hard not to stereotype these posts as people who are absurdly biased because they have tons of the gear deemed to be overpowered and can't stand the thought of them being nerfed or something. I hate to make that assumption but these rude posts do all the talking.
Just for all the non believers.
My gear and currency is fine. I can just look past whats best for myself to whats best for the game. I see too many people just jacking off to their overpowered gear. Does it make your life complete or something?

I used to have a phys/crit archer, and my elemental archer with RT (no crits) was far stronger. Crits are overrated unless you invest in a ton of passives, and in doing so it means you have to sacrifice survivability.

There is absolutely no way in hell any non-crit archer will be able to compete with my DPS.

If you're giving those kind of numbers up, then you aren't competitive with the top tier archer builds - not even close.

actually, you specifically said voltaxic was the "best ele bow" which is simply not true, since my bow shits all over it, and mine isn't even "optimal"
