Whats the point of playing hardcore?

That's not really true, though. You just grab a pair of facebreakers + Perandus + meginord and grind Ledge/Fellshrine/Docks and get your friends to rush you or buy rushes for a chaos or two. There are differences between the leagues, sure, but it's easy to get to 70 if you so desire.

Skipping all challenge content is right up there with Alt-f4ing.

Exactly. So who here has legitimately reached level 70 on HC entirely solo without grouping once, or farming the same easy areas over and over again? My guess is either zero, or liars / deniers.

I wonder how my current favorite build which is pain attunement dual totem handles itself on hardcore. My guess is not very well at all because its a PITA to level up playing solo, and incredibly squishy without a full group.

If I cant play the builds I enjoy on HC, then what's the point in playing on HC?

From what I understand, the game is actually designed around hardcore, with standard leagues thrown in as a recognition that the game won't get off the ground without the support of standard players.

Ever wonder why all the races are in hardcore..?

Its entirely relevant when HC players are blaming my playstyle for dying while soloing in SC.

I want to know how many HC have successfully pulled off a fully solo level 1-70 grind in HC to be going around blaming people for dying when soloing.

You also know you've lost the argument already when you resort to calling someone a troll for having a different opinion to you, and attempting to ignorantly dismiss their points because you know you cant counter them.
