Can't seem to FOUR link an item.
had to throw 50 fusing for those gloves.. Normally ~10 for 4 link

UPDATE: I just ran trough my last stack of fusings and... still no 4link. (Yes, I used armourer's scraps.)
It makes me sad to think that I could just have bought the gloves 4linked for far less currency than I spent on them trying to 4link. But then again I try not to buy items. I found the gloves myself and I simply wanted to make them 4link so I could use them but now after ~120 fusings - nothing. Diablo II veteran playing the REAL successor.

" Oh, it isn't. But you need it most often of all as slot color is pretty much unique to your setup, good thing chromes are plentiful at least. However sometimes you really need off-color slots and there's no other way around it and it becomes a nightmare. It can really restrict your build forcing you to use gems you have room for and for what - no reason at all. Example - melee/summon hybrid, you have a lot of read or green and it becomes hard to roll blue slots for minion and minion support gems. Good thing Melee Physical Damage support actually gives your zombies more damage then a minion damage gem. It might alleviate the problem a bit if chance to roll off-color got raised a bit and dual stat gems got the ability to be placed in either color sockets. " I once mentioned something like this. Since I forget that some gems need dual stats and I find that out while leveling them. If they made these gems Purple, Yellow and Cyan accordingly, you'd know that they need dual stats. And they could be placed in either color socket to make up for it too. I think it'd be a nice trade-off. Last edited by Vegnarus#2398 on Sep 5, 2013, 9:29:38 AM

" Problem with that map is: It could be incredibly rare, which will not significantly help one get stuff. It could be incredibly hard, meaning you won't be able to get there and get anything unless you already have loads of good stuff. Or it could be reasonable and only a bit uncommon, but then the people that have stuff will run it all day, and you might as well start vendoring 6ls. As was said, very few if any characters actually require a 6l, and it's not something everyone's meant to have. I don't have a 6l at the moment, and things work fine. As far as 100+ fusings for 4l, that's rather terrible luck :( GGG have said they're going to change 4l availability somehow, so perhaps that will make a difference. IGN: Victario

" THE "IRONY" here talking about "economy" is this... If the crafting system doesn’t get a very serious overhaul there will be no economy at all because frustrated players will just quit!!!! And no funding from players means no PoE... I've got my rarity drop up too 120% now and i still don't get enough drops to justify the failure rate in this game... This is not Vegas guys...slot machines there can have a 1% pay out rate... BUT...there are millions of people all over the world that will come and play the slots there... There are not millions of PoE players that will take 100 to 1 odds and continue to play \, let alone voluntarily pay to support a game that frustrates to no end... |

If you're prone to frustration, you can trade for the items. If you're patient, eventually you'll get your 4L. Either way is fine.
What's not fine is blaming the outcome of your choice on anyone or anything but yourself. Man up. You knew the job was dangerous when you took it. |
