The pay to win Situation / PTW players

I am a prime example of a player who's done so. Did not use magic find. Self-found, self-crafted until mid-80's point at which I grouped with other like-minded players.

Can I copy your build?

No sarcasm here, just bored of having to farm to even get out of cruel.

You don't have to vendor valuable Q10 gems to get a GCP, just like you don't have to vendor unidentified rares to get a chaos. The valid recipes for chaos and GCP are there, but you choose to look at the worst ones. Exalted has no recipe, while Chaos and GCP have both efficient and inefficient recipes.

then what? vendor 4 Q5 gems, worth more than 1 Chaos each? 10 Q2 gems worth more than an Orb Of Alchemy each?
and how will you obtain said gems?

look, obtaining gems and orbs is geared towards either trade, or pure insanely-unfair RNG.
and trade is geared towards ripping-off others, using stuff you got from insanely-unfair RNG.

if you trade fairly - you end up being poor (I can guarantee that from personal experience).
if you solo-farm endlessly without the utmost outrageous Magic Find - you end up poor.
both will lead to a rage-quit situation very quickly.

some people (like me) choose to create new characters and run through the same content again and again, like a Hamster on a wheel.
we occasionally get a new toy thrown into the wheel though: a Rogue Exile or two. Turbo Brutus. yet another Orb we have no chance of finding.

others create and join farming parties, where the guy with hundreds of IIQ/IIR gets the last shot while others protect him (because MF gear generally means your survivability is 0).

and some turn to RMT.

out of the above 3 options, the third should be removed from the game entirely - and the other two are almost just as bad.

To fix this "RNG" problem, I would recommend taking RNG out of the orb equation entirely. Anything higher than Port Scrolls shouldn't drop. Make all orbs Vendor-influx. Now if you cant make money, its your own fault.

This game does not need a solo-league. Unless GGG wants to lose money of course.
Danskere: PM mig, hvis I har brug for en guild.
Anyone seen those groups with WTS exalts for $ name?
Reporting option would cut those out.
Seen couple of them and then there is two or one random named players like intQijdl.
Pretty obvious whats the deal here :P

Sigh... if there was just a way to see who deals large ammount of exalts and put those accounts under surveillance :(

Of course there is, what makes you think GGG doesn't have them under surveillance?

I am talking about a long term league ofc. I thought that was pretty clear.

Is this confirmed?
It does not take that much to make lots of currency if you play a lot, have a dedicated mapping group who pools their high level maps and you sell your stuff.

Ok, people don't like to see the name but it's a good example, Kripp in a span of 2 hours a couple days ago made 8 exalt + 4 eternals from selling what was in his stash. Most of it high ilvel white items.

Yes it's much easier for him to sell stuff with 3k viewers watching. However, that does not mean that anyone else can't make that same amount of currency in a longer period of time spamming trade chat with things people will want to buy.
OP sounds like he doesn't know how to trade. I have 50ish chaos after very little trading, IMO at least. I don't even have a store page and only trade chat a few times a day.

GGG knows a lot more about what is going on then most people seem to realize. They can tell if you are buying items, and they can see where they came from and where they're going.

if there is pay to win most likely its 3rd part websites that are selling stuff like that...and PoE cant do anything about that, unless they make things account bond which then will kill the market for normal ppl trying to trade...all the PoE shop doesnt have anything that impacts the game what so ever..if u think cosmetics make ppl play better then obv. u havent played LoL..
