Physical Crit builds have always had a very tough time with reflect damage. What's new here? In fact, I would say physical reflect makes physical crit builds nearly non-viable without a secondary attack skill.

You seriously expect to cleave into double physical reflect stacks with nearly 600% crit multiplier and be fine? That is just idiocy... and I think reflect is a pretty dumb mechanic to begin with, but you are just asking to die.

hmmm tonyg, add 3k armor from granite on top of what? you got no armor besides granite? you only mentioned the physical reduce % on stats screen, which is a random game approximation. With that massive crit multiplier and siphon's 125% effectiveness, if you have that low of an armor rating, i'd expect reflect to hurt a bit. Try something like traps or poison arrow swap for reflect, if its that bad.

the thing is, even after the 0.11 patch Endurance Charges do a much better job at stopping incoming damage, than Armour.

I usually combine both Granite and Endurance, which allowed me to melee-face-tank Kole recently (although I doubt I would be able to do that pre-0.11).
and I use Resolute Technique, which practically nullifies the threat of reflection. you'll see why in a minute.

the clearest problem I can see OP, is you have about 4k DPS and 500% Crit - which means you can probably hit over 10k in a single attack, and ~20k in a second.
even if a reflect-mob throws just 10% of it back at you - we are talking about a 2k hit. too big for armour to negate effectively, unless you can get it around the 20,000 mark.

bottom line: the problem isn't reflect. it's reflect + crit. I think this mechanic needs to work differently in case your attack crits.

I love how thew first guy who started posted after SL4Y3R completely ignores my posts and my math and writes down all this nonsense math that he made up in his head. If you read my posts the math is there. Then some buffoons come in and talk about me QQing about reflect and the mechanics of reflect. Why don't you guys check my join date? It is February of 2012. I have been dealing with reflect well before you guys knew what Path of Exile even was. I don't need to be educated about reflect. The point of this thread is that since Patch 11.1 REFLECT IS BUGGED. Are you guys illiterate? trolling? or just plain stupid? Reflect is doing a lot more damage than it should and that is the problem. A problem which did NOT EXIST before patch 11.1. Don't ask me to post a link to a dev post about reflect scaling with damage, enfeeble, or being able to be blocked/evaded. If you did not know this, you shouldn't be posting in this thread.

they patched the damage bug overnight, rares and champs were dealing tons more dmg. OP must have played when the bug was around, and should try again

its very strange that reflect be effected by those mods and enfeebel though, very very strange


This is the very same reason why I made sure to include that this bug affected be BEFORE AND AFTER 11.1C

1k armour..thats what the DR is from, and reflect never hurt on my Ps wander for the last 2 years.. after this patch its become unbearable..i shouldn't have to change skills because of a bug
