I'm not saying don't buff other bosses, I'm saying don't nerf this one simply because a few noobs are bad at this game.

Once again, This
By requesting a nerf on this boss, you are having (or trying to) a negative effect on my gameplay experience. Not just me, everyone else who likes a little challenge now and then.
Especially one that I can choose to do when and if I'm ready for it.

If you like challenges so much, why aren't you racing? Why aren't you playing Onslaught? To me, you are a troll. You talk about challenges, but all you are doing is play standard. I only sometimes race and play standard for the most part too, but at least I don't come on here and pretend that I am all about them leet challengez420. You troll.

"the game should be harder!" - only plays standard. Get out.

Such weak arguments.
I compete against myself. Try to do better than I did before. I don't give a fuck how awesome someone else is at the game. I have not once talked myself up as a player, only stated my experiences. My guess would be that I'm about average. I can pass judgment on others being noob, when they come in here telling sob stories. Do I die at times? Sure I do. Do I come into the forums and try and have the game altered because I died? No.
I can only state my own experience with this boss.
If I die to a map boss, the challenge is then to beat that boss without dying. What league I play in is completely irrelevant.

You said you want this game to be harder. Then go ahead and do races or play Onslaught. No, instead you want a map boss to be unfairly hard which affects everyone else's experience too.

If this really was about difficulty then you would be racing or playing Onslaught. But you are not, instead you are just a pretentious asshole telling the guy who got the world first merciless vaal kill in anarchy that he's a noob at the game. (despite the fact that you solely play softcore, have never competed in a race or achieved anything else in this game.. you are a ridiculous)

What? I like to play when I choose to. Not commit a block of time for a race. I might want to go cook a meal, leave the house or some other activity that isn't playing PoE.
How is me not racing in anyway related to me liking games where death lurks around every corner?
And as far as onslaught/hardcore goes, grindfest + permadeath (including losing all gear) is not for me, especially with an old computer and shitty net.
How good I am is also irrelevant, if I die 5 times on my way through or 50, that doesn't change the fact that I like difficult games, which is what I thought PoE was supposed to be.
I think you should go play farmville or something.
At least come up with a tangible argument.

I'll say for a third time (and for a third time you will fail to give a reply), this.
What is wrong with this monster existing, if you can not only avoid it, you have to actively go looking for it.

Testing on what? That your build is arbitrarily good enough to do the boss? Update, it's not all about you. Many people's build's can't kill this boss, so in the end there is content that some people can do and some people can't. The only problem is that this was arbitrarily decided, there was no way for people to know, when they made their builds, that this boss was going to be changed this way, so now they are losing out on content through no fault of their own.

Sounds fair, right? Well, maybe to sociopaths like you this isn't a big deal, but I actually want this game to be balanced for everybody. He is the only boss on a 66 map that I can't kill with my MF gear on, there is simply no balance, it's completely arbitrary.

And like I said, if you want the game to be harder (in a balanced way), go play BLAMT races, 1h Immo races or freaking Onslaught.

The boss is simply imbalanced and restricts player's options needlessly and arbitrarily.

Also, stop pretending that this is about skill. I love how people like you have this illusion that being able to kill a boss, that is solely gear/build dependant, somehow makes you a better player. It fucking doesn't. This boss only tests your build or gear, the only problem is that everyone who chose the wrong build loses out on this content, through no fault of their own. This has nothing to do with the game being harder or more skillful, in fact bosses like this one (gear checking bosses) make the game less skillful.

And for god's sake, all this "it's not for casuals" bullshit is annoying the crap out of me, of course this game is for casuals, you are all casuals. The only game that is truly made for hardcore gamers with alot of skill is starcraft, nothing else even comes close to that game in skill or competitiveness. So get off your high horse you casual. I'm actually a high master/low grandmaster player in SC2, so if you really want to pull your bullshit "this game has to be hard"-card ill show you what a hard game really is, because I could probably take on any random members of this community in a 1v4 all by myself in a game that actually takes pure skill.

Too bad, the game isn't fair for everybody and really shouldn't be. If somebody can not work out that it's not safe for them to try and kill him after a few seconds then they should die. It's not hard to see you are dying and that you should get out of there.

Have you even been reading?
I tried him with a character and couldn't beat him. I survived by running around, and then abandoned the boss. That character has 3kES and no armour other than flasks.
The way this character plays through the other 99.9% of the game isn't working for me.
What am I doing about it? I'm collecting dunes maps to run so I can test.

No one is losing any content by not killing him. There is no item dropped only by this boss.
You can still run the rest of the map, and just leave him, the exp he grants is the same as the exp granted by other monsters (not talking quantity, talking type).

You keep repeating the same stale arguments, which I have already countered, yet you won't answer my question directed at you.
Why can't you just not fight him with that build. Maybe play your dunes maps with a different character?

Why should the game not be fair for everybody? A balanced approach is the best approach to making a succesful game, that's why starcraft is the best competitive game in existence and that's one of the reasons PoE won't ever even come close to it. As long as the developers refuse to balance the game in a way that makes it fair for everybody and bases everything on skill, this game won't ever be competitive or truly skillful.
