Blacksmith needs to be changed ASAP. enough is enough

I think Blacksmith is just too hard if you are soloing. I've been testing it and his stats just go WAY TO HIGH when he is in sword mode. He attack speed seems like it triples and his damage does as well. Though his damage may not triple, it's probably just with how high it is that my armor does nothing. With 18k+ with a granite and about 90% reduction with 4 endurance charges, I just don't do dunes anymore, or I just skip the boss.

When come 0.11 Patch and chars got nefred and rare with bosses got buffed this game start to very very hard, like x2 or x3 time more harder. So ofc need to make big nerfs for rares and bosses. Rly hope for nefr them and little buff for Life or little nerf for ES, bcs now CI a lot stronger vs Life. Now to be tankie all you must to do is play witch with CI and take as many ES nodes as possible and you tank, easy. Before 11 Patch many ppl takes life, now all takes and stacks ES.

Read this thread, thought to myself I'd try him out.
now my character is level 72 and I don't really map with it because it has really crap gear. as in, I'm still using the same goldrim I used on level 1, and not even resist capped. Also, it was a ranger ele cleave without resolute technique and without iron reflexes, I made it in hopes that 2h phys cleave acrobatics would be good post "melee buff"-patch aka. "melee stay the same relative power level assuming they aren't hp or regen based in which case they are worse off"-patch, which evidently it wasn't, and it wasn't like I had gear to make up for any of this by any stretch of imagination. So, went in dunes with more magic monster and extra hp, aka easy and good xp. got to the boss, while I certainly did notice him doing more damage, it's not like I felt the need to use neither enfeeble nor granite flask. But I probably should have, considering he sent me to standard league after critting me for like half my health bar. Honestly I think he is fine. I don't see what all the fuss is about, I got send to standard because 1) didn't use granite despite bouncing between 80-40% hp, 2) used inferior build, aka having evasion that didn't get turned into armor 3) didn't bother using enfeeble despite having it available as one of the two curses on my skill bar 4) didn't treat him as he could potentially kill me aka. bad attitude on my part. tl;dr: He is fine as it is, maybe next time I'll expect him to actually pose a threat unlike countless of other times I've done Dunes map. " Most melee will have trouble because they are offensive focus. The offensive focus is both players and developers fault. Player for being bad players. Developers for skewing the game toward DPS. Really bad placement of defensive nodes. Really bad itemization. RNG on links. With that said my lvl 56 (IIRC) can solo him without map mods. I probably don't need to use immortal call. Straight out facetank him. Unfortunately I don't have any Dune map to test it. |

Did a spider forest map with dual blacksmiths. lost maybe a couple of zombies. Summoner rules.

" I easily facetanked two of them on my Facebreaker in Spider Forest (lvl69 map) and they had 30% more dmg and 25% more attack speed mod, it's all about your build and playstyle. Ever seen videos facetank the most powerful monsters? Yep. It's >90% melee characters. Imo melee is easily viable if not op with the right gear. Block + Life Leech Gem helps immensely, try it :D Unarmed for life! (although I do like maces too recently)
