If you can't handle a particular map boss, why not just avoid him?
Trade those maps with others for ones you can do, or collect and level them via vendors. Is this a difficult concept? It seems that it is for many. Discuss. |

I usually trade away ghetto maps, dunno if it's easier after the dmg change. I just dont like that trapfuck.

Yeah, a lot of people avoid that bastard.
So why should Blacksmith be any different? Or are all "bosses" supposed to be a cakewalk? |
|
" Well a lot of people are.... less than intelligent. They whine about shit like this when a potato could work out to just avoid the boss. Casual little kiddies will always cry about something being too hard. |

I died like 2 times with my supposed to be best character so far when I came back from 1 month break and encountered him first time. First he crited for 3k sth and I was like ok he hits harder now I need to get my endurance charges and granites up and kite a little. Then when I try to kite him he went super saiyan and jumped like 5 times in 3 sec lol and I got my second death. Then I just got my decoy to hotkeys and killed him with a little trouble. Yeah he is not a just right click to death boss anymore, thats why everyone is mad. They dont want to bother with temp chains, enfeeble, decoy totem etc. If you are on HC as everyone says you can just avoid him too for now. You'll lose 1 or 2 rare items for it maybe lol. Although it is not that hard I believe it needs his attack speed nerfed a little or get a little cd at leap at least though. I love balance on map levels. I dont wanna facetank a 70 boss easily than chased by a 66 map boss like a little girl. It should be better for first time players too since they will start to mapping with 66 maps surely.

" So your initial method didn't work and you adapted. This is how it should be done. Not "I facecheck-cleave all mobs in game so if I can't facecheck-cleave this boss then the game is broken". Which is the attitude I'm seeing. But this isn't about buffing/nerfing bosses, this is about how some content is optional, and if it's too hard for some builds, then they don't lose out by having it remain available for others. |
