A bit tired of the "HC master race" attitude.

Im self found only, with HORRIBLE gear, doing maps in softcore with ZERO DEATHS, and i dont "exit to login screen".

Its really not that hard not to die...

Maybe when they add a timer to the exit to login screen button, HC players can say anything.
Spoiler

amount of deaths is irrelevant...you can exit to login on sc as well... the reason that people play HC is that its a really big rush going and doing something you might now survive... because if you wont, you are done...

now SC bois should stop whining about HC people picking on you... suck it up, or play HC

fixed for you

also bois doens't exist, it's Boys*

Edit: I wish they implement the 5 second delay to exit to login screen in the new league, so we could see who r the true HC players. Couse as it stands now, its not realyl hardcore to have a save me button.

Hardcore deaths go to softcore. If you already are fine with playing softcore than why would you even mention permadeath. Permadeath is a concept that only exists for people who will only play hardcore. You just keep playing in softcore if you die. You don't experience permadeath due to you your preference of play. So you managed to not really have a point to your post. Have a good day.
When I died with my lvl 82 marauder in the 1 month race 5 or 6 months ago. I just logged in and gave away my gear to the first person who pm'ed me and deleted my char. How you want to play the game is your own decision and doesn't impact people in any way.Just play the game for fun and races are one thing I will always like to do.

Just wait for Anarchy or onslaught and HAVE FUN!!

Also there's an ignore button if you don't want to see them .

My current Ranger is only lv 25, and only overlevelled the area by 2 levels (Pools and Streams, and about to go into Waterfall Cave) I have 6 Armor Rating (1% Reduction) 1164 Evasion (56% Evasion chance), and ~700 HP. all of my gear is yellow, and Im running 1h/shield Double Strike. My Passives atm are focusing more on HP and Crit

Hardly HP/Crit exclusive... but still working on it :P

Exactly, your only level 25...........

I also said 'my CURRENT Ranger'. I know exactly what I have to look forward to, and see no flaw in my build, I only die because of my own mistakes.

I replied to your comment how HC players look up cookie-cutter builds, and play those, what does my level have to do with that?

Are you serious ? You cannot see a difference of gameplay between a level 25 and, let's ay, a level 80+ ?

During a race, I can be level 24 in 135min, starting from scratch (I'm not a top racer). We run in Waterfall at level 20 (and even less for the best players) ......

I knew the use of this image wouldn't be limited to one thread...I KNEW IT!
Honestly in my opinion, there are 3 things that determine how good a player is.

1)How good they are at making a build (whether it's a creative, try something new or the 100% efficiency gonna-faceroll-everything variety).

2)How good they are at actually playing the game. Kiting, reflexes etc.

3)And of course how good they are in the races (I'm hands down the worst race player in Path of Exile).

Hardcore/softcore has nothing to do with skill, just a personal preference. I've played in both leagues (currently just hardcore). But I definitely plan on playing through the standard league once some/all of my HC characters die. Anyway I've seen a lot of idiots both on the forums and in game that insult the players of the other league. I guess it depends on the person rather than the league.

Also thank you for the thread Falcord, now I get to enjoy 9 pages of arguments about HC vs SC. It's always fun.

And we are trying to say that ANY BUILD would work at level 25 .....

You are wrong. The char is still playable.
Take a try and create a new HC-Character. Let it die and after that you see:
You still can play the char. Not in the HC-League but in the default League.

I emphasized the important part. So if you're a HC player, your character is not playable after death. No difference to other games.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
