Total BS argument, and there are good arguments to be made against an AH (especially against something like an RMAH).

I already have made well stated arguments in another thread that I started.

And no not EVERYTHING has to be exactly like D2 to be successful, but there are many areas of D2 that proved successful.

It isn't a Coincidence that D2 without an auction house was a legendary game, while Diablo 3 with an auction house is a major failure. But many posters here would like you to believe that.

Sure Diablo 3 did a lot of things wrong, but implementing an AH was certainly a major cause of its failure.

IMO Auction House is something what is needed in PoE because actual TRADE channel is worthless, to much time consuming and that rly hurt true game play, ppls wasting there time to buy/sell and at the end buying overpriced stuff is not fun at all, nothing good from trade and trade chanel

so if no AH Prevent trade items at all so that will be smart and best decision.

wasting and spamming TRADE channel is bad for overall game-play.

So with that NPC u can sell your items for other drop items like chaos, exalts, etc. same thing u do in actual useless trade channel, where u can find what u need (search, sort,...) not to waste and read 10000x useless spam.

More precisely, in the release 1.0 post (see announcements forum section) GGG said that a new trade system will be probably implemented in about 4-5 month.

I think that this is a good news.
