Auction house Yes/No?
Absolutly YES!!!!
I still don't understand how a game in 2013 doesn't have an anction house, just remembered the game is in beta. Also the game is dying because there is no AH. Last edited by Melaniilla#1365 on Jun 19, 2013, 8:36:59 AM

NO.
I totally agree with a concept of making more trading options available... but srsly this isn't the way to make things better... All i need is a place (a trading billboard/npc) where i can check for items offered by the players, that are in the same instance with me... Want to trade local? get ur ass in town (and read above - this is what we are missing here) Want to trade global? trade chat is open Want to trade away from game? just post in forums I do not need a global sack of gear beeing sniped and flipped over and over 24/7... Just my 2 cents... Last edited by sl0w_moti0n#6844 on Jun 19, 2013, 9:25:47 AM

While the current mechanics for item trading is lacking, I'd have to say NO to a full blown AH.

Adamant YES!!
Diablo 3 was killed by a lack of character building (no stats/skilltree), poor endgame balancing and terrible itemization. People need to get off the bandwagon that being able to acquire gear somehow trivializes the game. It's impossible to kill a game by making the items already in it more accessible, if it were, then it's obvious the items themselves are what is broken. Even moreso, it'll give casual players a means to participate in trading which is generally reserved for those that are on for more than an hour a day. Again, YES Last edited by FlyingK#2066 on Jun 19, 2013, 9:54:35 AM

no thanks. terrible idea driven by a terrible idea that the whole point of the game is to sit at max level and wheel and deal items. It is completely incongruous with the entire rest of the game where there is a large focus on start and mid game being played.
Hey...is this thing on?

I'd welcome any idea that is an improvement to the current trade "system".
Anything that reduces the time you invest to sell your shit, and finding items you need. Can't imagine how many players got those items i need, but i can never buy those from them because they're offline when i'm playing or not watching the trade chat 24/7. "I'm programmed to say something that is kind and uplifting at this point, but there is apparently an error that is working in my favor."

Of course we need that auction house.....
I get bored of spending more time, trying to sell items instead of playing... That game is dying cause of the absence of a trading system, because the forum one is nothing, for me. Give us an auction house and let us play more instead of sitting in town trying to sell! |

No.
I think aRPGs suffer if the pool of items is contributed to by everyone and indexed with the efficiency of an auction house... People realize that they are just one out of many many thousands and that their chance of actually finding a worthwhile item is relative to that ratio. Since most people play aRPGs for the looting aspect (assumption) this kinda sucks the fun out of it. |

Yes! To AH.
No to RMAH Jay said RMAH was a bad idea not the AH. I think we already have one incoming. Chris said there would be a way to trade you item from the forum without logging in game so hopefully it will be more useful and less a mess than the trading forum or ingame chat trade.. |
