Those are not drawbacks of being on low life. They have absolutely nothing to do with being on low life.
They are drawbacks of having a small total life pool, which is a completely separate concept to being on low life. Being on low life has literally no effect on how easy you are you stun or freeze.
It's easy to confuse though as there is no visible indication in the game of your total life pool.

You're missing his point.
Whether or not you're low life or full life as CI, you have the downside of having a small life pool (easy to stun) with none of the benefits of having lowlife mechanics. Meanwhile, HP-based builds have the benefit of having large health pools (difficult to stun or status) while lowlife shavronne's builds have the benefit of low-life mechanics.
The point being posed right now is that the benefits of CI are not as good as the benefit of lowlife + aura stacking that comes with having a good shavronnes build. That's why you see so many Shavronnes among top players.

You can't compare a keystone to a rare unique. They're worlds apart.

Because linked ES chests with 600+ ES grow on trees.

Well if you throw in qualifiers of course.
A 6l ES chest will sell for more than a 1 socket shavs. I don't think you are breaking new ground by saying so.
Finished 17th in Rampage - Peaked at 11th
Finished 18th in Torment/Bloodline 1mo Race - peaked at 9th

Let's break this down:
For a CI build you need:
- CI keystone
- High ES gear (expensive)
- Skills to use
For a lowlife build you need:
- Shavronnes (expensive)
- Keystones (likely ZO, PA)
- skills to use
So for similar requirements, you get one build that deals double the DPS for 20% less ES. No one is comparing a keystone to a rare unique. They're comparing a build that uses a rare unique versus a build that uses rares that are also extremely valuable.
The end result is the build that uses a rare unique is significantly more powerful and has resulted in a huge metagame shift. It's not tricky logic to follow.

Mark without debating semantics which makes no difference functionally UnderOmerta summed this up pretty well and I echo his response strongly.

I really think it deserves a very good hard look.
Lastly, thanks again for reading and replying... I know you are very busy...I also know that I can seem overly critical at times but it's only because like so many others I think the game is basically great... it can and I am sure it will be so much more... and through some hardcore criticism we are giving you all things to think about.. planting seeds if you will... but it is up to you and the other Devs to grow things and we understand this... but even if you choose not to grow the seeds we plant.. in some regards it is in keeping with our part as beta players to keep planting and ranting :)

Mark, you are pigeonholing powerful keynodes on to certain equipment gear. Everyone pretty much knows that the only way to play Low Life (for GAMEBREAKING benefits)is Shavrone Armor and the only way to play CI is Eye of Chauldra and the immune to frozen condition.
So in effect you are creating a power fluctuation creep that heavily favors rich and experienced players over starting players and which may eventually kill off your game. The game needs to be fun for everyone, not only for those who had the patience to painfully grind (or buy for money) their gear.
I would be more understanding if you were selling that gear as in pay-to-win scenario, but currently it makes no sense at all.
