CI and Low Life -- totally inconsistent, Please rethink this!!!!

Oh, I'm not complaining. If the economy tanks, it's more cheap upgrades for me since I rarely sell anything as it is except to friends or players I map with. Who has time to try to sell anything in this game with its nonexistent listing features?
But I know Moos has complained about the economy before and asked for "self-found leagues" and what not, and at the same time he's contributing to the situation by acting all high and mighty and "good riddance" to players whose presence contributes to the economy. You have a lot of players leave, and guess what? That contributes to the economy collapse. Can't have your cake and eat it too. |
|
" That's funny I feel like just the other day I said a self found league would be a bad idea. I also don't think I've complained about the economy, I've complained about trading. I guess if we are making things up, I heard UnderOmerta is part of a terrorist group. Finished 17th in Rampage - Peaked at 11th
Finished 18th in Torment/Bloodline 1mo Race - peaked at 9th Null's Inclination Build 2.1.0 - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1559063 Summon Skeleton 1.3 - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1219856 |

Oh no, I've been found out. I guess I have to put all my terrorist plans on hold.
Then I guess you can enjoy complaining about trading while it becomes harder and harder to do thanks to the diminishing playerbase as people chose to play "that game with MMO crafting." Diablo 2 had more MMO crafting than this game. How'd that work out for them? |

|
Thank god It's not necessary to trade for gear in this game.

"Because being on full life is something that everyone wants to do and is inherently a good state to be in, while being on low life is something mods people don't want to do and is inherently more dangerous. Low life bonuses are about rewarding that risk, and thus have big benefits for the big risk. Full life is not inherently risky, it's just challenging to maintain in most cases. So it gets less bonuses. "CI builds can be powerful and competitive already.
" I don't follow this logic. If something is extremely challenging to maintain, why does it get less bonuses? And I would agree that lowlife being "dangerous" should make the rewards scale up. But when you introduce an item like Shavronnes into the game, methinks that lowlife is not quite as dangerous as you intended. |

brainstorm...
melee damage on full life should work similar to point blank: * 100% life = 50% more damage * 65% life = normal damage * 30% life = 50% less damage * 2% life = 90% less damage just like point blank, gaining levels should not modify these numbers, but instead detract from some kind of instituted penalty... this would make the gem far less niche and far more strategic... "Something which is merely somewhat challenging, but not at all dangerous, should have less bonuses than something that is somewhat challenging, but also inherently very dangerous.
" no, that's not true anymore. Shavronne's Wrappings spits in the face of your post. Low Life is no longer "bad" thanks to that item. "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."

Yes because everyone gets a free Shavronne's when they sign up
(it is still a stupid item, of course) |
