Your MOST DISAPPOINTED 3 games of all time

Since we are already talking about our TOP 3 games of all time...

What are the 3 games that disappointed you the most? (I probably should ask for 4, since 1 of them is almost a dead given)

Here are mine:

1. Diablo 3 - Allow me to explain. Oh wait... no need :P

2. Fallout 3 - Why I was surprised, I don't even know. It was just flat out horrible for me. Everything good about Fallout 1 and 2 was gone. How could they turn Fallout into an FPS?! It wasn't even a good FPS!!! Hey, at least it wasn't an auction house simulator...

Definitely agree with the first 2.

My third is a hard choice. Basically anything from Bioware since KOTOR. It's all been garbage since.
Reimur: even though you're wrong, why would you have faith in diamond supporters? you're talking about a group of people that are so autistic that they would spend 1000 dollars on pixels. we're almost the most idiotic group of people in this community. second to hardcore players.
1.Duke Nukem: Forever - It was a really dull shooter and even though I liked hearing Duke's voice after 12 years, not even his performance could save the game.

2.Rage - It was a really boring game and it had a terrible PC launch, I didn't think ID software would stoop so low.

3.Battlefield 3 - Even though the visuals are great the game is not fun and Origin is not helping.
Stay awhile and listen
Dragon Age 2:
Simply because I had to high expectations after playing DAO, and DAO is the game that have come closest to Baldurs Gate 2, my all time favourite game.

Diablo 3:
After all the hype(and expectatoions that this would be a game I would play for months), it was a huge dissapointment after clearing it pre 1.03. There was no fun in farming & no more content which could have made it fun to progress further.

Wotlk:
This was the expansion that made me quit wow, which in hindsight im actually glad I did :p Just way to timeconsuming with such an mmo. (no focus on pvp & raid content was silly easy).

Theese are actually the only games I've been dissapointed in. Not because they wheren't worth their price/time ratio. Just that I expected alot more(well maybe not in wotlks case :p). I always look up games before I buy them & the games I buy I'm always pleased with for what they are.

Ya Dragon Age 2 definitely didn't live up to what I expected.
Dragon Age 2 - I even preordered the Signature Edition because Dragon Age: Origins was just awesome. I was so disappointed that I didn't even bothered completing the game without cheats. I really, really hope Dragon Age 3 will be better.

GTA 4 - I simply could not enjoy that game. The city was in my opinion ugly and the story was boring. Sometimes you just want to drive around and enjoy the environment. Always seeing that city is a big downside to me. GFWL and Rockstar Social Club are also incredibly annoying.

Fable 3 - The combat was horrible, a lot of bad game-design choices and a dull story. 'nuff said :)
I haven't bought that many games recently, but here's my list:

1. Diablo 3 (Everything I loved with D1 and D2 are gone :/)

2. Battlefield 3 (Codename Eagle is still the best game "made by DICE")

3. Red Orchestra 2 (although I have played it 10 times longer than D3 and BF3 combined, I had hoped for much more!)
I've been sitting on this thread for a while, taking time to think of the most disappointing games; it's actually quite difficult to do. Well, here we go:

1) Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
The first MGS for the original Playstation had me hooked. I loved that game so much that I rented it from the local video game store for weeks at a time. I distinctly remember throwing $50 on the counter and asking, "How long will I be able to rent this game for for $50 bucks?"

I was in heaven for the tanker portion of the game playing as Snake... but it was exceptionally troubling when I could beat that game in a single evening and feel like, "Wow, that actually was kind of an anti-climatic experience." Not to mention the, "Where the hell is Snake?!?!" expression when Rayden pops out.

Finally, anybody who has ever played through MGS2 knows that the worst part of that game, BY FAR, is the swimming sequence to save E.E. I honestly wouldn't have felt bad at all if I put my controller through my TV because of that section of the game.

2) Skyrim
I feel so bad putting this on my list, because a very good friend dropped it for me as an early birthday gift during the Summer Sale. Seems to me that the 10 hour mark seems to be the brick wall. Should you be yawning while you're in combat?

3) Left 4 Dead 2
I've had the game since release and have just 50 hours exactly into it. Something about them replacing the awesome cast, atmosphere and rolling out an expensive expansion pack to a game that I'd just bought 4 months prior just didn't sit well with me. Also, melee ruined that game. I so thoroughly enjoy sniping a boomer just have an ass-hat Katana user jump in front of me and get incapped and then proceed to call me every name in the book via voice chat. Clearly, it's my fault for shooting the boomer. Also, verses is broken and the community is one of the WORST I've ever experienced.

You should try the MOBA community in games like League Of Legends, Heroes of Newerth and/or DOTA. Super aggro environment! ^^
Iron Front:
thought it was ARMA 2 in WW2...it was a buggy as fuck game, made with the same engine :x

Tribes Vengeance:
Not even close to being "Tribesque"...the MP part of the game died instantly.
Sadly Tribes is mainly a MP game.

Diablo III:
All reasons are found in PoE!!

first prize for me goes to diablo3; such a long wait for a marketing gimmick and self-centered money making game.

hmm.. second for me is soul reaver, i loved the legacy of kain games in the past and soul reaver was a blast when i first played it. When you reach the end, after many hours of gameplay, you are greeted with a "to be continued" end... what the? o_O

tirdly, too many to list from my memories. Postal? Superman 64? final fantasy trend from D&D to the oblivion of linear sci-fi garbage (tree of life? spirits? omg come up with something else).
