Your MOST DISAPPOINTED 3 games of all time

Star Wars: The Old Republic

Just didn't deliver in terms of combat, longlivety or social environment. I liked the stories though :-)

Dragon Age 2

Felt like a fluke when compared to DA1. Story was bad, combat was simplified, graphics were horrible imho.

Stronghold 3

The old Stronghold games ruled! This new one, sadly didn't :-(

yes thats what i think
I never even played D3 because of the things I've heard about the skill-system and well, everything else.

Dragon age 2 was a disappointment, though I don't think it's as bad as some people say, it's a very different story style, many fundamental elements of playing were changed and the graphics and design took a very different direction. I think it's undeniable though how well the effects, movements and combat animations were made (quality-wise), I liked the different types of quests and the design of the environment and culture very much.

What was honestly bad about it is the repetitive gameplay areas, the rewards for quests, the cluttered and senseless (emenies jumping ut of the wall?) combat situations and the general idea that we're folks in the city, doing things just because, not like saving the world like in DA1.

Also something else: Hitman's going down on a shitty way in my opinion. Hitman 1 (yes, I'm old) was awesome, so was two but starting with contracts it sort of became bland and boring.

Did you honestly think the Hitman series would go unscathed?? When they toned the shit down on splinter cell which, in my opinion, goes hand in hand with hitman (gameplay wise).

We live in greedy times my friend. Passion for creating unique and challenging games are gone, replaced with methods to exploit, the less experienced out of their riches.

It's worth noting that gaming is slowly going down in trend. I had made a bet with a buddy of mine that the gaming fad wil die down as rapidly as it inflated into the market. More and more people are becoming aware of the current business ethics and the certainty that everything corrupts, even the devs that you held in high regards for more than a decade.
"How would you like it if I snuck into your country and did this job over there... and not cash in any of your friggin checks?!! You WONT!! Because you will be right here!!" - Master Shake.
Oh good, I'm not the only one in the universe who felt as though they wasted serious money on the game. Dungeon Siege III, what REALLY bothered me about it was the fact that it lacked everything that MADE Dungeon Siege what it was. Even the second one was better then the third.

Superman 64... Anyone actually remember this game? I remember renting it one night and hating it for all it wasn't worth. I got one of those feelings that day that gives you indescribable anger.

Knights of the Old Republic II was fun, I'll admit that. But it came off as unfinished and often lacking. If they had made the ending better and finished the HK quest line, then it would have been perfect I think.
