Your MOST DISAPPOINTED 3 games of all time

Since we are already talking about our TOP 3 games of all time...

What are the 3 games that disappointed you the most? (I probably should ask for 4, since 1 of them is almost a dead given)

Here are mine:

1. Diablo 3 - Allow me to explain. Oh wait... no need :P

2. Fallout 3 - Why I was surprised, I don't even know. It was just flat out horrible for me. Everything good about Fallout 1 and 2 was gone. How could they turn Fallout into an FPS?! It wasn't even a good FPS!!! Hey, at least it wasn't an auction house simulator...

3. Uncharted Waters Online - What in the world was KOEI thinking?! Uncharted Waters 2: New Horizons was one of my most favorite games growing up. I was so excited about UWO when I heard about it! Well, childhood memory = ruined.
Even though its not the worst I have played by far, I am going to have to say Diablo 3 since I waited for it for so long and was really hyped to play it. Oh and I forgot the thing that ticked me off the most about that game....How the HELL do you screw up legendary items soooo badly? They virtually never drop and their hardly ever worth using? SERIOUSLY?

I can't even think of two more games right now that come close to that but my favorite game ever right now is currently Dark Souls (Holy crap is this game awesome).
Standard Forever
1.) SWTOR
- Was so hyped for that game. pre ordered it as soon as I could.. Forum member for nearly the entire time the site was up. Got ready with all my friends. Upgraded my PC to play it at max settings. Pre downloaded, opening night, bum rushed the quests I knew I should complete before the rush hit... Was sorely disapointed once the game ended. No seriously. An MMO ended.

2.) ME3
- Ending. To this day, the ending. Lost faith in EA and Bioware.

3.) Kingdoms of Ama something or the other.
- Over hyped... per the usual.
I thought Fallout 3 was great. :)

1. Dragon Age 2 - Nothing else even comes close to the disappointment that this game was to me, considering how fantastic the original was. Absolutely everything about it was worse than Origins, and even if it was a stand-alone game I still would have been disappointed. I won't even be pirating Dragon Age 3 if it's made.

2. Mass Effect 3 - The most disappointing ending to a game I've ever experienced, made worse by the fact that most of the previous 99.9% of the trilogy was very impressive. I should have already learnt my lesson playing DA2 though...

3. Um...Diablo 3 beta? I haven't played the full game. Um... I know!

3. Final Fantasy X-2 - Not a terrible game, but the main characters annoyed the hell out of me.
1) Diablo 3... reasons are very clear here

2) Spore... the genius who programmed this.. A+... the derp who integrated the concept into a game... derp derp.

3) The Final Fantasy series trend towards garbage. This is a little more abstract, but I was a HUGE FF fan. I loved 1-6, then 7 got huge with Sephiroth and PS gamers, which brought a new demographic onto the scene that they felt they needed to pander to... starting the age of linearizing the game. Then they created garbage #8, #9 was an ok throwback to 1 but not great, #10 was garbage, #10-2 was garbager, #11 was an MMO, #12 was mostly bad and had auto-combat, #13 was sheer linear garbage with obnoxious characters, #14 is an MMO. In any case, 1-6 showed vast improvements, culminating with #6 which is probably the best game ever created next to Portal... which spiraled down in the next 8 installments to MMOs and total garbage.

Darkspore

Honorable mentions:

Too Human
Elemental
Final Fantasy series the same as zeto

I consider myself a fallout 3 fanboy, but i haven't played any other fallout games to compare it to =/

1. Stronghold 3... Lasted 8 minutes in the game, wouldn'tve bought it but sadly i pre-ordered.

2. Diablo 3... I thought it was fun, first playtrough was fun... After a while however it all got bland and the same, and for the first time i realized that this was the exact definition of the term 'Grinding'.

3. Evochron mercenary.. I like space games, but this one... Just no...
Shoep - Default league Ranger
Peohs - Any other class or character i play.
Jhuvik - My Marauder
Merialeth - My witch
Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows, cause it was like Gauntlet Legends /Dark Legacy with all the fun removed.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, Nothing like the Old Might and Magic games, cause no turn based mode or party system. But Heroes of Might and Magic V was an anti-disappointing cause it was one of the few games in series done by different devs that was faithful to the original.

And Finally the fact that Too Human didn't have sequel. I loved that game and got a 1000 GS on it.
I love Fallout 1 and 2, and I loved Fallout 3 and NV just as much. It's difficult for me to see, how it could be a disappointment, it wasn't a secret, that it would be a FPSRPG (or what they call it). Anyways, Fallout 3 is greatly designed, they are serious about the story and the setting.

Diablo 3 was before release given the expression that it would be the new "it", and they actually kept a lot of things secret. The features are badly designed or lazied designed, it really just feels like it's all about the money.

My list is btw:

1. Diablo 3 (biggest disappointment ever).
2. Starcraft 2 (The first appearance of bnet 2 with no chat channels at release, dafuq?)
3. GTA 4 (To go from San Andreas with 3 cities, country side and a lot of side features to a game with one city and fewer features was a killer for me.)
Danskere: PM mig, hvis I har brug for en guild.

I ripped Fallout 3 a new butthole when I reviewed it, simply because to me, the game was desolate and boring. The weaponry wasn't improvised enough for me either.

I understand it's supposed to be post-apocalyptic, however that doesn't mean you need to put in so much walking through literally empty space.

I do think the series can be salvaged though.. as it's a good concept and could be executed better in the future.

I could add many more gripes about that game than just that, but I gotta jet to work heh
