Sorry man this sentence makes whole your post rather hard to belive.
I am far away from elite players and i coule easily keep doing 68-69+ maps.
How is it possible that top10 player had problem with falling into 66s(especially now when maps drop was increased)?
I personally agree that there is a problem with small amount of peoples playing now so economy looks "dead".

That's the thing, your status as "far away from the elite" does not affect map RNG one iota. It's an exaggeration to say he falls down to 66s, but even if you fall from 75+ to 70s, that's a fairly significant fall for players who are lvl 85+ (and even more exaggerated with each passing level).

I know there is huge exp penalty you dont have to explain this issue for me :).
If he try to keep up 75+ maps and its to hard to him its probably time to change priorities...
For sure increasing map drop rate isnt good solution to any problem(its some kind of nerfing game).
Imo lvl 76-77 maps should be so rare that doing it would be some kind of reward and they should be more uncommonly than now(yesterday i saw 3x77 lvl maps drop for havoc team in period of ~30 minutes time).
No matter the changes to end game that come in the future those using RMT will continue to use RMT. They have the disposable income and the need to feel like they are better than the 99%, and will use any means to accomplish that. How can anyone not see this?

the actual reason is that op is not in the top 10 at all... but actually a poser who is making assumptions about top-level play... and this entire thread is built on lies...

HvR and the players around him buy maps all the time. They also spend countless amounts of currency rolling them. The fact that one period yielded 3 good map drops hardly says anything.

So if you saw a stream where a Kaom's dropped in the 15 minutes you were watching them, does that mean you can expect a Kaom's drop ever 15 minutes?

I am just thinking that 3x77 lvl maps in a row shouldnt happend regardless of RNG.
Whloe this thread as someone agree with me few post before is bulid on a lie and hurt ego.
I run out of maps 70+ ==> Map drop is too low(key is here = not only for me but for everyone) ==> Make drop rate higher plz.
Same logic and whining of casual players destroy diablo 3 inferno difficulty.

I'd say your kind of thinking has destroyed many more games. These players aren't asking for the difficulty of the game to be tuned down. They're asking for the ability to play harder content.

3x77 maps can happen BECAUSE it's RNG. Just like how you can get 3 6l's in 6 fusings. You can also get 0 in 6000. By definition it's random. And sure, running out of maps causes some degree of emotional frustration, but when it's practically ubiquitous across mappers of all kinds, you run into a real issue. There's been many, many players that have stopped playing because of the map system, and would be playing if the system was remotely sustainable.

there are a quite a few who can see that and then there are some who think otherwise.

I find it really cool that 77 maps are so rare that they are a valuable trading item.

Nope games nowadays are destroying because they become too easy, and became too easy because of whining players who rather than change sth in their game style start blaming RNG/authors of game or anything else.
They think that they should get sth for free rather than chane sth by their side.
If GGG would increase map drop maybe owner of this thread would be happy and could continuously doing 75 lvl maps.
But there will be another player who would have problems with running continuously 75 lvl maps.
And guess what - he wont start use chisels or try to get maps with better mods(its just examples i dont even assume that owner of this thread didnt use chisels :P) he just would think that GGG should provide him possibility of running these maps.
That kind of player should take step back and start running 72 lvl maps or change sth by their side.
Also that story about doing "high 70" maps and falling into 66s maps is total bullshit and that was my first thought when i read his manifesto.

Ok its end from my side.
I will go sleep
Cheers.

This logic is absolutely bonkers because you clearly have "difficulty" confused with something else.

There's no difficulty in grinding 70 maps to try to get higher maps. That's not "hard." That's pointlessly time consuming and needlessly tedious. 70 maps are, by definition, going to be easier than 77 maps. Forcing players to play easier content does not make the game more "hardcore" and allowing players to more regularly play 77s does not make it more "casual." That's a complete perversion of what game difficulty means.

Your second point is a complete slippery slope. It's akin to saying that if you allow gay marriage, you'll soon get people wanting to marry their donkeys. No one cares about people who don't sustain high level maps because they don't bother to chisel/roll their maps properly. But if you do spend the money to chisel and roll your maps extremely well and still can't sustain because of RNG, then that's a problem. Again, difficulty does not mean, "let's force people to do easy content over and over because of factors beyond their control."

exactly. cheaters will always cheat.
making the (end)game easier is not resolving this issue only consequently banning cheater accounts is.

age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
