Do all the XP penalty complainers just body brigade through the game? Honest question
" you're not offering anything. it literally makes 0 sense to lose 12 hrs of progression at level 98 because you looked at your cat meowing for 2 seconds. |

" You didn't loss anything, don't forget all the friends you've made along the way. Also, enjoying your cat meowing is priceless. Thanks to your empirical data, we can also now know that 12h of PoE2 farm = 1 cat's meow, which I'm sure some math guy will compute to tell us how many cat's meow are required I reach level 100. Don't forget they control the internet. |

" yikes bro. enjoy a doa poe2 with a bunch of people like yourself. already less than 150k on steam btw. if you can't see that you can lose LOTS of progression from a single mistake.... you lose your map, xp, items etc. you're just being disingenuous when I used a basic example that can happen to anyone. obtuse, ignorance and being dense is how you cultivate a yes man audience and a even worse game. you're not giving feedback you're trying to steer a narrative and it's not working. " Im sorry but Im litterally just stunned by the stupidity of this comment.... There have been countless points made as to what the reasons for the xp penalty are. And you can choose to disagree, you can think its unfun, all that is valid. But that doesnt mean that others opinions are invalid. Im not gonna repeat the arguments because your obviously not gonna read them anyway. I hate to be rude but I just have to ask. Is your stance honestly that your level 98 and you die because your looking away from the screen while in combat and you dont understand why the game is punishing you? This is the way POE2 is, and there are hundreds of thousands of people who are playing and enjoying it. Meanwhile you want them to change it to a game where you dont have to look at your monitor while playing. Well I have good news for you, such a game alredy exists and its called Diablo 4. Maybe instead of trying to change a game that others enjoy you could go play a game you actually would enjoy?
" 1. An early access game release is gonna have less players then it did at its peak at the launch day. This is just natural, one reason for it is that on launch day everyone is playing, while after launch is over people play on different days, not everyone plays every day. The second reason is that obviously the game isnt going to be for everyone, especially when its on early access. Show me one early access game release where this isnt the case. 2. If you listen to anyone who knows anything about game releases then they are all praising POE2 for its amazing player retention, not only is what your saying senseless but its in complete opposite with all facts and statistics. " stop talking. you offer nothing but baseless claims. here's something to disprove your strange and wrong thought process https://steamdb.info/app/1086940/charts/#3y here's bg3 you can go back to 2022 because this is a game that DID have early access and WOOOW it grew in size. you're embarrassing yourself and you're saying nothing of substance. if a player can't look away from their screen for 1 second without being punished then like I said it will be DOA less than 150k btw. but you ignore all these things. xdd |

I think it's fair to say that you can enjoy playing a game without loving every single aspect of it.
Why is it always "one individual wants something VS 150k players enjoying the game". Trying to make people opinion or feedback look unpopular is so stupid. |

" Wtf are you talking about.... 1. Baldurs gate 3 early access was released in 06.10.2020 not in 2022. It peaked at 74k in october on release and by november 2020 it had a peak of 15k, followed by a peak of 6k in december and 4k in january. Its way worse then poe2 numbers. Please learn how to read graphs.... Offcourse Baldurs gate 3 which had such a small peak at early access release is gonna have bigger numbers on full release....? You cant use a 3 year timeline from early access to full release as a comparison to POE2 which has been in early access for one month. If you look at the numbers following the early access release then they are WAY down much much more so then poe2, then naturally after they added more things to the game and finally years later released it fully they had player growth. 2. Pretty much 99% of the games in existance can punish you if your not looking at your monitor while your playing, wtf are you on about. Do you play anything besides D4 and minesweeper? 3. Less then 150k what? what are you even referring to? I dont think you even know what numbers mean. POE2 had a massive huge success at its early release. And its player retention is top tier. Its steadily been peaking at around 350k for weeks now. If your point was accurate then what you would see is a dip in players over time. Not a fall off from the release (which like I explained is natural) and then it just being steady at 350k.
" Its not stupid, its logical. If ggg has 350k concurrent players enjoying the game. And theres 50 people complaining about something on a forum. Should they change the game to please those 50? or should they make sure the 350k playing keep enjoying the game?
" lmao 1 second looking away can result in literally 100hrs of progession lost due to rng citadels or the lower end... maps, xp, items. you must be a employee trying to convince people these things are good. nothing else makes sense hahaha you can't even follow your own guidelines and then say wtf am I talking about. you said ea's don't grow playerbases. that's just wrong. just like most of this shit you're poorly attempting to say. I showed you multiple ways and your response is that's on you. cool you still add nothing. Last edited by toxiitea#5772 on Jan 6, 2025, 3:50:21 AM
