Game needs a difficulty setting
Never thought I would say it but community is divided on the difficulty so maybe it does need a difficulty setting.

I don't think it needs a difficulty setting per-se but I do think there are some problems.
For example class / ascendancy balance seems way out of whack. If memory serves the top 4 ascendancies make up about 85% of the top characters by XP ... and they tend to be all ranged archetypes. Throw in issues with MF being a [significantly] lower sacrifice on some of those classes along with other imbalances and you really get two different communities seeing vastly different sets of problems. |

" Excellent points. Everyone is having a different perspective based on class, rng and trade/SSF. Maybe something to consider down the track when the game is properly balanced. |

I just want enemies to NOT fully respawn on death. It's not fun, it's not challenging, its just annoying and boring. If they could at least drop that I would feel way better

" To not respawn you mean? Yea it's annoying af and needs to be changed. I must just suck at this game and don't want to die so often to bosses. I'm actually fine with mobs but some bosses I could have at least 10 attempts before I progress. |

" Yes sorry. I don't want them to respawn. if I want to do a zone again I can just make another instance. I can understand bosses regenerating, I'm not a fan but it wouldnt ruin it for me. the full respawn is kinda ruining it for me though. |

" Yes, this is extremely annoying. It's bad enough the many of the boss fights are completely unoriginal in that they just amount to almost kill them, have them turn into something else with full health, almost kill them again, turn into something else with full health, rinse and repeat. But to have to go back and redo areas over and over again to build up levels to get past most of these is absolutely making this game triggering and not fun at all to play. In POE 1, the stupid mindless nonsense that you faced with bosses, i.e. random insta-death mechanics that are completely unavoidable or resistible, could be overcome by just attacking over and over again so you could progress. Now with the bosses getting full life all the nonsense makes you just turn the game off and wonder what could have been with a game that has so much promise but fails so completely at making it at all enjoyable. |
