Except that if youve played settlers trade ruthless - you wouldve never written anything of that. Its the CURRENT trade ruthless compared to CURRENT trade poe 2. The latter seems to be a step back.

Ruthless in Settlers league is a little less ruthless because you can farm currency offline basically. When I went back to my ruthless char after a week playing POE2, it felt pretty relaxing. And FEW in ruthless have a destroy the map build.

Well, because ruth have almost no endgame build and leveling build guides to follow, so its either someone is capable of coming up with stuff themself, or getting lucky, idk. The amount of builds that clear screens in poe2 is also not that big, and that number is dwindling on a daily basis.

But about scarcity - thats why I specifically said CURRENT.

Yeah pretty much everyone I interract with in Ruthless knows the game pretty well. Even SSF has almost no build guides. If this game was successful I wanted to start making some. But in its current state .... well I am on the forums not the game and that says it all.
I personally don't mind the size of the maps. I guess there could be a slight issue for people who want to speedrun content. I always thought map size in poe 1 was too small. But I will agree with you that poe 2 is on the bigger size. Maybe meeting somewhere in the middle wouldn't be a mbad idea.

This game as a play once through to endgame and its over is probably ... ok ish ... for the league mechanic it will be a nightmare. I predict if they reset the servers now they would lose half the people on the game and MOST of the trolls.

Time for a reset? :)

Oh I hope they do a new league reset whenever they put in some of the new classes lmao

I would see restart as mandatory.

I do wonder what the passive tree will look like with new classes...guessing that's been discussed by Jonathon at some point already, but there doesn't seem to be any room for anything else so Druid starts where?

Yet another one. New/private account.

How many points for the OP is that, now?

Again no content in that. You have no arguments, just a feeling. Ahem ...

POE1 veterans have been waiting for this game for years, we definitely dont want a worse POE1. To even assume that is ... perplexing.

My guess is they will start left of the witch start, at the 11 oclock position. Seems naturally suited to druid.

And that is my main issue with the game. I don't feel like maps are in a good enough place when it comes to size and layout design to be something you do a lot of every league. If that makes me "you guys" and "whiner who wants PoE 2 to be PoE 1", so be it. But I still haven't seen anyone able to tell me how their PoE 2 map design is adding to the game.

And no, it's not about speedrunning. It's about longevity and the repetitive nature. If they want us to do maps for hundred of hours, like it seems they want by focusing mainly on endgame for EA, they are in serious need of serious changes. Maybe a handful of people can enjoy these designs for 100 hours each league, but 'most' people will end up burnt out way faster than in PoE 1.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Thats hilarious now youre changing your argument

"oh no its not THAT ruthless its settlers ruthless"

Ok really quick how does that apply to gems being limited from vendors? It doesnt

Or your one movement skill? It doesnt

Or vendors and their loot? It doesnt

Or gold drops? Especially since you will be wasting what little you get all on the city? It doesnt

You get utility flasks in POE2?

How about any ascendancy modifiers? Oh theres none in poe2? awwww

Educate yourself on ruthless before talking about it please. And definetely dont compare it to POE2 https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Ruthless_mode

Except that I was stating about curent league from the first time ive mentioned it, so that arguement is invalid.
Getting gold for a city is not a problem when valeruis shits it in tens of thousand every hour. Quickstep is not a movement skill, its a dodge roll, Vendors were useful for getting 4 links reliably and sometimes even 5-links, utility in poe1 is required for ailments control, just like in poe 2 and can be automated not only to be used when fully charged.
Seems like youre just quoting stuff from wiki without telling the on-field experince youve encountered.
