Floored by the power spike of TRADING. This will ruin the game.

yeah what you are missing is that these so called "trade tickets" would only apply to trade with instant buyout

the normal hideout trading isn´t effected by this at all.

but anyways i move on, it looks like you did not play much poe1 at all to understand what the devs are talikng about so it is pointless to continue.

No problem with guilds and close groups of friends trading freely. This thread was targeted at the automated trade website inflating the economy with overpowered items en mass which diluted the reward of playing the game.

I will state again there is absolutely no need to denigrate and name call others, it only leads to a downward spiral and egg on your face.

The only solution to your problem will be to buy a private league in poe2 once they are available, you can do something like you want there, but it will cost you real money to buy one.

The normal trade league will not change in the direction you want so a private league will be the only real solution here.

I have linked this video several times, but I will do so again.

They are aware of these issues, and I am excited by their proposed solutions, I'm sure they've put far more thought into it than we have, and I'm excited for the future of this game again, trade and all.

yeah i know i was the one that posted that video in the first place, and you don´t understand the context jonathan is talking about lmao

but whatever, it will be funny once you realise after years that they did not change the trade league to your liking.

What are you even arguing at this point?

The trade system as it exists now is terribly broken exactly for the reasons detailed in this thread and in the Rogers inverview. It's broken right now, and affecting the quality of the game right now. And all you guys have done is argued for 30 pages for utterly unrestricted power and trade.

And the people playing in trade league love the broken Trade system!

They love when they see the mirror drop on the ground and they know that they can now buy all the cool shit they want.

still cant answer why SSF does not solve the problem for you, but you are going to parrot that video

"Want a civil discourse? Act civil."

Your inability to answer why SSF is not a good solution for your problem tells me everything I need to know. I am all for change but if you cannot answer how SSF doesnt solve the issues you have, your point gets weaker.

Its not a point if you deflect when offered solution.

You have little to no experience in PoE1, you probably missed the time when trading was just forum shops and you had to go through dozens of forum threads to find an item that could be helpful.

That was a lot of friction and probably the best way of trading items to have both inaccessibility and wasted time unless you REALLY wanted an upgrade

You know why they changed the forum shops ? because people wanted more accessible trade. Many people, myself included, were against the idea. but then poe.xyz came by as an indexer and floodgates were open.

at some point GGG made SSF a mode.
SSF mode is a solution for your problem. in poe1 all meaningful races with all best players are done in SSFHC

and to top it all off, you come off as someone who have just discovered that online economy matters so much in poe. like I say, go to eve online and tell them how economy is bad for them. link the thread to us too so we can grab some popcorn.

whats next, bro ? you will find out that kids come from coitus ?
I'm curious what your point by point summary of that interview is? It really feels like we aren't watching the same thing lmao

"here is why unrestricted trade inflates the economy with really cheap and powerful items"

"Here is our thought process on curtailing that".

Did I miss something?

Because the game is balanced around trade. Now that I know they are working towards a non broken trade system I'm happy for the future of the economy.

Case closed, you guys can stop dog piling now.
I mean yeah that's a pretty sweeping oversimplification. They do talk about taxing an instant buyout trade, but I don't hear anywhere in there they mention changing the existing trade market at all.

In fact, a bit into it he explicitly says they still want players to be able to dump their gear into trade tabs like they currently do. He also has an interesting topic shortly after that where he muses on the actual economic benefit that people like me who engage in arbitrage add to the economy and how to balance that against just allowing bots to run rampant.
