I checked, the player numbers went down lol because they always do.
GGG has admitted to this trend.. majority of the peak players dont stick around with the game until a new update.
It was independent of these patch notes. You think it would have gone to 1million if they had this loot from the beginning? Get real.
This isn't a league. This is paid early access. I truly don't think you're capable of correlating data. How can you acknowledge GGGs use of data and cope by thinking this change wasn't supported by it. Yes, I expect the game would have had much more if loot was fixed on launch. Look at the marketing they did and how many burned D4 wanted to play it. Remember D4 EA numbers, I do. Remember how people reacted when they learned the actual drop chances for thing, the numbers couldn't drop fast enough. If you really don't value your time, open two tabs of random.org and roll 1,000,000 until you get both of them to match.

Slippery slope doom posting begins when the lucky and skilled players start feeling less lucky and skilled.
GGG wants players to craft items in Act 1 and had to adjust drops to meet that design decision. Players are actually making the game easier by choosing to trade instead of craft and then complain about game is easy.

Well said. I watched it for many years with PoE1. GGG tried taking back decisions, BOOM community erupted.
The content creator cycle didn't help this either. Game accessible -> streamers making build guides -> players play -> buy packs.
Dedicated hardcore fans spending a few thousand dollars? Get F!@#'d, we have tens of thousands of FNGs dropping $30.
Even Ziz admitted in a video you have to lie to new or bad players.
Imagine this: Dark souls 2 just came out. One weekend in: "We have increased the number of souls drops by 50% across the board, you are guaranteed to get all boss souls weapons upon beating a boss"
Not saying PoE2 has to be dark souls 2, I am just highlighting that the game would not have grown its niche and encouraged people to try to figure things out and players could just tell the developers "change the game for us"

this game went downhill real fast lmao
whenever I click a stream it's some one button deadeye build running at light speed, one shotting the entire screen and getting 20 items from one big pack
idk how the game can be in such a terrible state after going through multiple closed beta tests. genuinely don't understand why they decided to separate poe 2 if it's going to be the same shit
A loud minority whined, and GGG gave in.
Or they checked metrics/were not happy with the numbers themself, and decided it on their own that it is better for the long run and it has nothing to do with "whining" and all that. Shocking right?
Ah but who I am kidding you will never even consider such option cause that goes against your ideas. You complained in a very long thread that people should stop complaining and just go and play something else if they dislike how the game is. Yet here you are completly spitting on the ideas you just said. But I guess that only holds up until it leans toward your way eh? I bet if they would have changed something to your liking even more, the same same do not like it go away thing would be up still. Rule for thee not for me.
The game is in EA for better or worse it will change a lot over the time until it is released. Not considering such, and calling others opinion whining just becaues you dislike it....

If a streamer brought in 1k viewers that's 30k, even with all your badges I doubt you've spent that and even if you have, you have zero ownership of GGG.

I'm playing HCSSF. The yellows and exalts I mentioned were drops, not traded.

They all refuse GGG has the data to make this decision but will quote GGGs data on other stuff.

Same. I am on GSF and only play GSF SSF or HCSSF.
GGG Never added a GSF mode so it doesn't reflect on my account.
Given group ironman's popularity on OSRS, hopefully GGG adds a GSF mode.
