I am worried that GGG might listen to the whiny "game too difficult :(" crowd

The game difficulty seems very fun and engaging. The campaign bosses and mini bosses are relatively challenging to keep you engaged.

From GGG's marketing to influencers scripts and directly here to your post

challenge, engaging, rewarding, evolution, pinnacle, blah blah blah

Also this narrative that many people seems to to put out that PoE 2 was always going to be a different game than PoE 1 and veterans should have done more research
Like how did this narrative even start?
Because excuse me
It's kind of a rewrite of reality xD
I had not even checked much up on PoE 2 untill recently
Last time I played a lot of PoE was 2019-2020
Was news to me that it was going to be a seperate game

The narrative started 4 months ago when GGG literally said it out of their mouths and it kept going that direction all the way up to the live stream even in Nov when they literally talked about it for 1.5 hours and said multiple times over and over and over again that its NOT the same game and it will feel completely dirrenent lol

Game was announced in 2019 as the same game

2 campaigns, 1 game

Try read again my message and take in the context I was responding too

They have deployed a patch an hour ago, so I hope y'all professional whiners can shut up and enjoy the game now ♥

I don't even think it was because they listen to any "whiners"
I heard something earlier today, that I think is correct. They were most likely already planning to improve lootdrops since beginning
They just started with low drop rates, so it's easier to balance

I mean honestly some of those act bosses feel like uber bosses at times... Had to group up with other players and rely on near constant stunlocking to beat them... Think they might be a little overtuned for the average folk that just want to go through the campaign. There's also a big disconnect between the average difficulty of exploration and minibosses and the big bosses to the point where you can go from dominating everything to getting crushed in a second.

Like the act 2 boss had so much hp scaling that we all ran out of of mana and had to trickle down spells to finish him while he was perma stunlocked... Think the hp scaling goes bonkers sometimes in group play where you hardly deal enough damage and you end up spending super long in those tough boss dodging death and not getting any potions back since often they don't spawn adds to refill your charges either...

That's my assumption too. Because I believe they had this smaller test group in alpha/beta release. But then now its this huuuge amount of players and you cannot make everyone happy right? Right??!! :)
The current state needs improvements, its not fun, new and old players will never come back.

If you want a harder game I'm sure POE will add a ruthless mode...
You fear that which you cannot control. But can you control your fear?

They don't exist. I've seen very few people frustrated with the "difficulty" of the game and a ton more concerned with the monotony and the fact that it's shallow compared to PoE1

You should just accept being gaslit into believing rollslop is hard, even though it's one of the most-played video game genres -- enjoyed by anyone age 9+ with an Xbox. I'll admit that some of the boss mechs can probably be a bit challenging the first time you encounter them, but your statement is spot on; many of the complaints aren't really about the difficulty, per se.

Hurr, git gud noob. Mad cuz bad. durr...

No really, DarkSouls 1 is probably my favourite game of all time, I played 2 despite the weirdness, and enjoyed 3, By the time Elden Ring came out those games were no longer for me, I get bored quickly with them. But man the souls community has always been, and still largely is, extremely cancerous and obnoxious.

Playing a hard game doesn't make you superior, it becomes their whole identity. Come meet me at Oolacile and ill rek you m8.
