Alchemy, Essence, Regal are supposed to be rare. I've got like 4 Regals total at the end of Act 5.
Don't waste them on shit gear.
Your transmutation and alteration orbs are bound to be abundant. Use them until you have 2 good affixes, then use your rare orbs.

U do realsie that each of these rare currencies is a coin in a slot machine, right? And it is in some cases 50% likely to make ur item use4less and in others 90% ? How is 1 alchemy and 3 regals per difficulty fair? What if u get unlucky as 90% of players do? THere are no do overs... we just need more currency! I don't see how that will be detremental for anyone

He doesnt.

He is new to RPGs

He is new to POE.

He thinks he knows everything and can lord over everyone because he played PoE2 EA for few days.

Yet you're the one bitching about the game being too difficult for you, not me.

If you use the regal on something with 2 good affixes, you get a rare with 2 guaranteed good affixes (and likely more).
That's what I am doing.
I am not running a BiS build with perfect affixes.

Just have to hope not. POE2 and its difficulty is perfectly fine as it is. Loving the new combat, love how items matter more than ever.

Crafting good progression gear can take time but is SOOOOOo much more rewarding:
Spoiler

Havent had much time to play but onto cruel 1 tomorrow after work probably very happy with the direction of this game.

Bunch of options as well. Melee is super fun! Trial(s) was a cakewalk for everyone that complains about it as well.
i need me some fuckin popcorn to continue following this debate lmfao
Add Scion To PoE2

He literally bragged about how much money he threw at the game, and why that should make his opinion more valid than mine.
What is the verb for that again? I wonder.
Help me out here.

I'll agree with Fae on this one. Who gives a crap if you spent 50 or 5000 hours on PoE1. If the Devs want to go in a new direction AND that direction appeals to new players that [hopefully] will throw big money at GGG then great.

I won't argue that Fae doesn't throw some fuel on the fire but discounting a new person's opinion [tourist] isn't helping the community.

Time to call you out. Show me ONE POST from me ( you can check post history, if you are new to the whole forum thing also) where I am bitching PoE2 is difficult..

Put up or shut up.

I hope you'll have a blast!
Also, that's a really cool piece, nicely done.

Plural you. You "veterans".

I understand having different opinions, different tastes, and I understand that what might be simple for some might be difficult for others.

But a pattern I've noticed here is that those who complain about the game's difficulty, will then point out how I am new and my opinion doesn't count when I tell them that PoE2 is not difficult, which... is kind of bizarre, considering it should be the other way around.

"You're new, therefore you finding it not difficult, unlike me, a veteran, is invalid"

??

It's a weird response, and a weird logic. I can't quite get behind it.

THIS is the issue. IMO incidental attacks from bosses hit WAY too hard and are not 'telegraphed' - like the Act 1 boss who charges out of the fog with no indication of the attack, and hits like a run away freight train.

It is telegraphed. He says a voiceline, then charges in a straight line towards you. You dodge roll.
If it hits you, it shouldn't do more than 30-50% of your HP, and you can easily heal through it with your healing flask.
The mobs you kill during that fight replenish your flask charges.

Let's ignore the fact that he as mobs that pushes you around while doing damage.

I gotta ask, have you even played this game as Melee???

I’d say the people that want to make money from a product care.. a game that caters to people who haven’t or won’t support = shutdown.
