I am worried that GGG might listen to the whiny "game too difficult :(" crowd

All those boxes under peoples names, are people that have supported this game studio for years. in some cases to the tune of thousands of dollars, the money from those supporter packs paid for poe2. I see by the stunning amount of zero supporter packs your opinion is irrelevant.

So you're complaining that whaling doesn't translate to automatically facerolling the game, and that you have to actually engage with the fights, got it.
Sucks to suck.

How much more clueless are you? there is no "whaling" in PoE1. Do you even do any basic reading or come from a game with 2 digit IQ players where somehow you were considered witty, pithy and smart? You are none of those, and a toxic ignoramus to boot.

He literally bragged about how much money he threw at the game, and why that should make his opinion more valid than mine.
What is the verb for that again? I wonder.
Help me out here.

And that's what people are talking about. There's a balance that needs to be reached between 'risk' and 'reward' and there's no balance whatsoever at the moment.

THIS is the issue. IMO incidental attacks from bosses hit WAY too hard and are not 'telegraphed' - like the Act 1 boss who charges out of the fog with no indication of the attack, and hits like a run away freight train.

Mob speed is WAY too high and they've implemented a 'gatcha!' whenever you respawn into a zone there's always a pack of apparently hasted blues waiting just off screen to shred you the moment the invuln drops.

Without giving players decent move speed or decent movement abilities it feels like *WE* are the 'mobs' from PoE1 getting trolled by zoom zoom players.

Other than the damage output and super fast mobs I'm fine with the game. I'm learning the mechanics around my broken nose and black eyes from having my face plowed into walls time and time again but the lack of anything but a slow-mo dodge roll gets annoying fast.

They appear to have upped the drops a bit, they just need to do it some more.
Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive.
Patch Notes 3.19:
Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment.

Oh he posted in the other thread (which he started and posts a lot in) that he is new to RPGs and PoE. Not that it is stopping him from being a toxic snark baby heh.

I am new, so why are you the one struggling and not me?

Because unlike you, we value our time and money - and if we dont like aspects of a game, we talk about it. Adult stuff you may never grow mentally to understand though, but it is what it is.

Alchemy, Essence, Regal are supposed to be rare. I've got like 4 Regals total at the end of Act 5.
Don't waste them on shit gear.
Your transmutation and alteration orbs are bound to be abundant. Use them until you have 2 good affixes, then use your rare orbs.

U do realsie that each of these rare currencies is a coin in a slot machine, right? And it is in some cases 50% likely to make ur item use4less and in others 90% ? How is 1 alchemy and 3 regals per difficulty fair? What if u get unlucky as 90% of players do? THere are no do overs... we just need more currency! I don't see how that will be detremental for anyone

How can you use "new" as an insult, when you as a self-proclaimed veteran struggle with basic boss / game mechanics new players do not struggle with?

Please explain.

You didn't understand his post (par for the course for you though). He was pointing out how PoE1 players literally bankrolled PoE2. Which you wont understand anyway. This has nothing to do with whales in games (do you even know what it means in P2W games? probably not)

lol. I’m saying your opinion is irrelevant because you haven’t supported the game at all. GGG is a buisness, and GGG will go in whatever direction provides the most money. So if I were you MR zero investment into the game I’d expect nerfs and buffs :-)

The fact that simple pattern recognition is 'difficult' to you

Am I the one struggling with boss mechanics, or you?

I'm not struggling. Being one shot for an accidental mis-click is not 'struggling' it's cheap.

That you somehow think that's 'difficulty' will never cease to amuse me.

Path of Exile 2 is not difficult. I've been gaming since 1982, I've seen and played all sorts of video games because I'm an eclectic and wacky sort of guy and while I freely admit that I am not the greatest, hell, I wouldn't dare have the ego to call myself 'hardcore', I have experienced difficult and cheap.

And Path of Exile is, at the moment, cheap.

Now to be fair, as I try to be, there is a LOT of positives in the game and it's VERY early access, which means things will and should change.

The Melee Classes only have ONE weapon type EACH! Once they start adding Daggers, Swords, Axes and Spears (Assuming Spears are also melee and range, but I could be misremembering) into the mix, then we'll see.

But I repeat, Path of Exile 2 is NOT difficult by any means.

And you know what? That's fine. It just needs to balance that out with fun now.

He doesnt.

He is new to RPGs

He is new to POE.

He thinks he knows everything and can lord over everyone because he played PoE2 EA for few days.

It is telegraphed. He says a voiceline, then charges in a straight line towards you. You dodge roll.
If it hits you, it shouldn't do more than 30-50% of your HP, and you can easily heal through it with your healing flask.
The mobs you kill during that fight replenish your flask charges.
