Feels like a scumbag moment from GGG
" Heaven forbid all the people spend countless hours making the game want to feed their family, have a house to live in, go on a vacation etc .... You reek of entilmenttery. |

I've supported the game for a long time. Since launch to be fair. Even streamed for a short while and maybe will again. This is pretty much a full release since the endgame will be there. No one probably really cares about the "Acts" to much because you rush to endgame. I think they did very well in bringing us endgame(for sure best decision ever).
The supporter packs are sweet and never forget they come with everything prior to the one you buy. Personally I felt like when Quant was removed and Div card farming crushed PoE was over. I stopped playing shortly after tbh. Let's see if you can target farm div cards again or not. Ritual is a cool feature if you want to get rich early as things like enlighten come from it. With the new addition of 50% quality Breach rings(obviously these will be the best rings in the game if you are going to mirror a ring it should only be these). If you can't do ritual the crafting is so complicated it's another way to get rich. You easily make 4-10 x profit on crafting !! Even a chance to make more with a lucky roll. There are going to be many interesting options to play again. I'm hyped !! One sad Exile

" It doesn't make sense for you. In your eyes. Personally. Subjectively. Which is totally OK. It doesn't make it a universal truth, though. " "Feel". For you. Personally. Subjectively. Which is totally OK. Your feelings are your own. But I prefer talking facts when debating this, not feelings :) Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile. " Dude, they're selling cosmetic armor sets for nearly 100 bucks on the MTX store. They're squeezing whales dry, what's will all this sympathy? Last edited by yodasdad#2505 on Nov 27, 2024, 12:00:22 PM

" Are you forced to buy the sets? No, so don't do it. Problem solved. It's only up to yourself to decide if you want to support the developers or not. The game wouldn't be free at all if it wasn't for us, the others that want to support the developers because we feel they deserve it, so YOU can play it for free. Just wait until it's fully released and it will be free for you. |

" It's not sympathy, it's just reality. NO ONE(!) needs MTX to have fun in PoE. It's only cosmetics. While they are all arguably overpriced, so what? It's only a matter of "want" and not "need". If you want an MTX, and have the money, why not? We are 'all' adults here, with our own money to spend however we see fit. Why is this worse, than AAA priced game that ALSO have purchasable cosmetics? Not ONLY do you have to pay $60-80 for the game, you don't even get the whole game and have to pay for cosmetics? Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

The Free To Play promise was never compromised. This is pay to balance pass. We're probably not even keeping anything. They might as well get the funds needed to develop two games side by side at the same time.
The more More you have, the less Less matters

" While I can't speak for all whales (as I've only spend short of 1500$ on the game), but you best believe that we aren't getting sqeezed by anyone. We support because we can and because we believe in the product. Many PoE supporters are adults with decent jobs; I know right, shocker! So let me reverse your question; what's with the weird notion that people can't sympathize with a game developing company, if that company deliver a product that we thoroughly enjoy and want more of? |

" It's irrelevant if GGG needs funding or support, it's about how they have chosen to frame this early access. Most aren't complaining because they don't want to support GGG, they are upset because this approach undermines the free-to-play promise by putting a price on what is effectively the game itself. Free-to-play should mean something. It's about funding through optional purchases, not using the term as a loophole for additional monetization. |

" If you've gladly spent 1500 bucks on better looking pixels there's no way to bring you back brother, sorry. There isn't a decent enough job on the planet to justify it. The only way they got that much out of you is by overpricing the hell out of their MTX store. |
