I feel just having a paid key is the best option. With random lottery and paid key, people will complain favoritism for people who won a free one. Like I wasn't going to spend $30 on stash tabs, anyway? :) The game doesn't revolve around the few people who never spend any money on the "free" game, and there is certainly no reason that player-testing/Early-Access should. If you are absolutely committed to spending no money, just wait the 6 months until the release date. It just doesnt feel right a free to play game will be having a paid release. and will be making more money than a good percentage of paid releases. literally just milking your wallet for less content by selling it early when it shouldnt be for sale in the first place.
