Not just you, I agree it should be a huge drama. Thankfully I only lost $30 in psn purchases but there are ppl with hundreds of dollars spend on PSN, I’d be furious!

But I sold my ps5 months ago, so whatever :D

I mean u still get 300 points with it.

I'm eligible for the free key but I might still buy a pack anyway and give the extra to some friend. And many people are like this, so there will be plenty of free keys in circulation.

I’m not a console guy so don’t know how it used to be with other games, it’s just the fact they advertise cross Progression.

Really nice cross progression when you have comfy stash tabs and some mtx on one platform and absolutely nothing on the other, what’s even the point of cross progression then?

Anyway like I said it doesn’t bother me too much cause it’s just $30 wasted, my revolution must wait

Bruh...GGG is one of the best companies that still delivers good content after all these years.
They should be praised and funded,imo. Especialy in our sad time,when corpos ruining game industry.

the game is free but that doesn't mean running the servers is free they need to pay the bills and earn from their time and effort.

you can wait until full version. and meanwhile go play diablo4 you will come back here with a very different mind set

There is actually a history or tradition behind the early access/closed beta period. Originally when GGG was making POE1 in closed beta, there was no way to enter the beta by paying money. Players were DEMANDING that GGG let them into the Beta and asking to be able to pay to enter, GGG only made the Beta keys paid based on player feedback.

They have always been very clear about the game being free to play upon full release. It's 100% your choice to enter early access or wait until it's free.

GGG get heat for this because they are "F2P" whereas Blizzard can adopt all the dark arts freemium profiteering they can think of on top of charging AAA levels for sub-standard games because they are "live service" (whatever tf that means). But GGG charging for EA on an ultimately F2p game? Straight to jail. Charge for QOL MTX like stash tabs? Straight to jail.

If GGG aren't allowed to make profit because they are "F2P" then they have to adopt freemium philosophy to survive so we get "pay for exp boost" or "pay for extra mf" or "pay for campaign skip" and the game dies for everyone but whales in a year. Choose.
