everytime one of these threads pops up, i wounder if these people complaing are even thinking it through or just blindly following whatever they heard somewhere else

after spending $70 on trash AAA games that I got 20 hours out of, I don't really care and will gladly spend $30 on POE2 lol.

Let me tell you something. Early Access is not a full release.
So yes, the finished version of the game will be free. If you can´t understand that concept and think 30$ Pack isn´t worth for possibly hundreds of hours worth of playtime, then you have to wait.

I would rather EA be tested by people committed enough to the game to spend 30$ than someone who is so self centered they feel they deserve something for nothing early.

GGG would be absolute fools to not take an opportunity to earn revenue at the most critical point of POE 2's lifespan.

You get shop points for your purchase.
All your old purchases transfer over to POE 2
You can apply point purchases, including the EA one, towards support packs
Higher tiers of support packs gives you literally everything from the lower pack tiers

You would be hard pressed to find many better offerings from other companies. POE cosmetics are definitely too expensive, but that just means I'm not their target. The only real criticism I can levy is being ripped off for color variants or only have one color vs the Warframe method of letting me recolor to perfection on one single version of the item.

$30 seems fair to me.

I'm waiting for release to get it for free lol.

I will gladly pay GGG 30+ Dollars if it keeps the Devolopers paid the Servers running etc - and more important other F2P Mechanics such as the Upgrade System from Lost Ark for Example or the Gacha Boons from Torchlight Infinite OUT OF PoE .

The game will be free when the finished version is released. That hasn't changed. They are charging for access to an early version which is not final and will probably change often over the course of early access. Those who are paying for access to EA all know that. GGG has let it be known numerous times that EA is NOT the final free version. People have a choice: pay for early access, or patiently wait for the final free version to be released.
