The state of Beta Feedback
One thing to note, closed beta was definitely WAY too easy back when i first started, so i wouldn't want to go back to that. I literally godstomped merciless using axes, lightning strike, heavy strike and 1.5k hp. My gear was bad/mediocre and i was only using 4 links on my attacks.

" Yeah it's annoying as fuck that they go and make a forum for their game then neglect it in favour of someone else's forum type website. If they aren't going to focus on these forums they should close them down. Computer specifications:

Hi
The state of beta feedback is a state of perpetual dumbfounded wonder at what next GGG will implement to make the game more useless(more light radius? more micro transactions?). CB was fun because it seemed like depending on a players skill, despite some lag, could win any battle. Chaos damage is a joke, the joke being it is overpowered, unbalanced and the punchline is that the dev's aren't doing anything about it. Question for thought: What would occur if chaos damage was A) Removed from game B) Resistance minuses per lvl difficulty lowered Would it really help? I was under the impression that Beta was to get the kinks out of a game by reading individual posts and making a point to notice what issues are brought up by multiple independent sources so as to know what is most pertinent. Definitely took some time but I finally realized that the honeymoon is over with path of exile, now all we got is counseling and divorce papers, wish I signed that prenup... It seems like the devs are caught in a catch 22 situation they need money(whats new?) so they make more micro transactions in hopes that people eat it up like a limited delicacy so they can use that money to ''fix''(yes fix in parentheses because I don't think they are doing shit) the game meanwhile POE is mostly unplayable and may result in one feeling the beginnings of a ulcer forming as the promise of a good game turns cancerous... I wonder how diamond supporters feel? Was it worth the 1 thousand dollars to get a item in the game that less and less people are playing daily? Cheers Conan: Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women.

Literally the day that chris responded talking about how he wants good communication, the devs have since all disappeared from the feedback forums for 5 days.
Seriously? You post like that, then seemingly in response post a manifesto asking for feedback, and then disappear for five days directly after? I'm not saying there isn't a reason for it, but there isn't one that you've told us. It also puts you at the risk of looking like an extreme hypocrite. GGG, we're trying to help you out, so when you post about how important the feedback is to you and then disappear it makes people less likely to actually believe what you're saying. I'm not saying that these accusations or assumptions are correct, but given your position you should be much more careful with these things. If there is a reason for your disappearance, there should be an announcement about it. |

I thought it was quite obvious that the GGG intervention in this topic was pretty much meant to calm the waters and especially the disillusioned supporters. We know quite well by now how "valuable" the feedback topic that was created will be, and that in the end, GGG will implement their vision anyway.
Is it possible that I am wrong? Sure... but before deciding I am, just do some thinking of yourselves based on the events that precipitated GGG posting an answer here. placeholder for creative sig

" They were in Diablo 2 as well, then again there was also far more useful mods that in fact would work much better for us, stuff like chance to bleed: (which should be a gem that replaces puncture which is just imba for ranged, and garbage for melee) Reduced Monster defense on hit: this isn't in the game because? increased sockets: which bypass limits on the item level aspect of socketing. prevent monster heal: very handy for those double regen mobs. Aaaaand, I'm sure there other mods that could be of use or could be converted to a gem effect perhaps as a support, instead we got light radius....and reduced percentile requirements... which seem a bit pointless tbh... |

What are you talking about? That has literally nothing to do with my post, use the context of the thread please.

" The mods are garbage, but yeah they just posted elsewhere aside from here... I know... but it doesn't really bother me so much as the pointlessness of the mods themselves... PRIORITIES. |

Hey Xendran, I'm going to make a new topic and just quote two of your posts, since this topic is now "too big for GGG to browse"
