POE Whales - What are your thoughts on PoM ban and losing thousands $$?

Seriously, though... POM wasn't banned because he "wasn't woke". He wasn't banned because he "typed the wrong thing". And being banned from a video game isn't "absolutely outrageous" and "heading down a dark and dangerous road".

This is a private business choosing not to provide a service to a customer. This is something that happens normally every day by businesses all around the world, and has been this way forever. It's not "Orwellian" as some in this thread claim; there's no oppressive government involved here. It's just the way the real world works. And believe it or not, we and GGG are not actually in Wraeclast.

As far as i remember, ultra widescreen monitors giving advantage over regular sized monitors. You can see further right? Its a good thing they removed ultra wide support.

No. Unfortunately what you are saying is not accurate. There are many many reasons you cannot refuse customers mainly due to federal anti-discrimination laws, just as there are reason you can refuse service. I am not going to get into the details of that, but just saying a lot of people like to throw around that talking point, "businesses have the right to refuse service" - as a blanked statement that is inaccurate.

There a ton of Federal Anti-discriminatory laws, but here are some resources which can get you started on the right path to becoming more educated about your countries federal laws:
