POE Whales - What are your thoughts on PoM ban and losing thousands $$?

I normally post evidence, but we have seen the teacher stuff for many years in the US. We have also if I recall correctly seen teachers fired for having nudity floating around on the internet.

A quick google with, "teacher fired for social media" will net you a bunch of results.

You made a claim that teachers have been fired for comments they made outside of work. I asked you to post any examples of where teachers were fired for their comments outside of school, in which they did not threaten lives or encourage others to commit illegal activities. So you went and linked us this?

1. A blog by a law firm , Zalkind, Duncan & Bernstien, it sites no specific legal case, and furthermore it states, "Therefore, the First Amendment rightly protects teachers and other public employees from discipline or termination for speech on public issues." - Which directly contradicts your statement that teachers can be fired for something they say outside of work. You might want to read this again.

2. The teacher who got fired, posted a bunch of comments online, that called for the shooting of certain people, here is one of the teacher's comments from the article YOU posted: "I don't know why the GOP doesn't just take those guns they profess to love so much and just start shooting all of their constituents who feel this way" - And she goes on and on making threats of murder and also encouraging others to shoot people. Encouraging people to commit murder is not covered under "Free Speech".

You are welcome to try again, and present any example where a teacher was fired for comments outside of their workplace, which did not threaten someone's life or encourage others to commit a felony like murder, and I will retract what I said. But, this time I would encourage you to read what you post.

I wouldn't call Chris a "retard". I honestly respect his ingenuity and creativity. He took a small no one indie company and turned it into the juggernaut it is in the ARPG space.

However, I have to correct you, what PoM said was rude but not "Hate Speech". Allow me to give you the definition verbatim from the statute:

Threatening speech that expresses prejudice against a particular group on the basis of race, religion, or sexual orientation.

Calling an individual "retarded" does not fall under the definition of "Hate Speech" - that's all I am saying. You really gotta educate yourself my dude.

I've spent thousands on PoE over the past decade.

I bought a nifty new monitor for $1.2K just for this game, and particularly for this league.

Fuck these guys for what they've done to me. I have a hard time with it and probably won't ever play the game like I did before.
