It seems like the time to remove the resist penalty and xp on death

That's false --- you can entirely be profitable doing purely low tier maps -- the issue is that certain drops are restricted based on content/level. My level 70 breachstone runs have been more profitable than my t14-t16 mapping this week, and that with doing multiple maps for every breachstone.

Afaik you can only farm currency on low tier, which is not that profitable.

Also about this little pearl from other guy:

Don't hype yourself up by saying you're "FIGHTING" a losing "BATTLE!". You're whining in child-like fashion with mostly irrelevant argumentation akin of a protestor in a rally, protesting for the sake of protesting because you aren't getting things for free.

You misunderstand if you think all this time I was crying about my own characters and lack of progress here and in other such threads. My farming is hardly top, but it is viable, usually doing all kinds of content I come across, except uber bosses (not even going to try those), the 3 top crucibles, and wave 25+ simulacrums. Also not doing deep delving, mostly for aesthetic reasons, it gets boring looking at same tunnels.

Other than that, my main time hog is picking up loot (pet auto pickup when?), rather than actually fighting. Target farm is Sirus/Blight/Beyond/Heist and general juice from boxes/shrines. Maven is not a choice because I am melee, and chasing her through lasers at last stage is annoying.

While there were choice moments of personal frustration, even if I would somehow accidentally reach lvl 100, would still consider current combo of rippy monster power + exp penalty a "bad" game design, which hinders project more than it helps (if fueling addictions of certain kinds of people with twisted challenges can be called "helping project" at all).
Of course your profile is private...anyways. While yes its annoying and almost 'out dated' but that is sort of a weird thing to say, anyone who is awake knows why its in the game and its a good thing as far as the game's health go. Also its a way to keep poking at the player to get better which is again, a good thing.

If you meant me, my char tab is not private
Not for bragging, for the sake of my friends who dragged me into PoE in the first place. Idk what else you could wish to see in my profile.

edit: and no, I am not playing party, solo almost all time

...In what type of universe do you think I was talking to you and why when I both didn't mention you or quoted you when I made my comment before this?! [Removed by Support] EDIT:
Your profile isn't even private so that should instantly let you know I wasn't talking to you for starters.

Dont like getting punished? Improve. Dont die.

Logic?! How dare you...
okay, sorry for misunderstanding. When someone posts without quoting and without any other identity references, it is reasonable to assume he was referring to previous post, which have happened to be mine.

I wish your true target person luck, he'll need it to deduce you truly meant him/her :)
Someone in this thread is a fuddy duddy. Not you Ecothesis, I think you're perfect. Someone else is both a fuddy duddy and a duddy fuddy.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!
i like how people on those penalty threads want to tell me that "i am suppose" to like getting punished
which is "objectively" a bad thing (or im living in a universe where positive=negative).
and if i want that people arent getting punished which is objectively a good thing (because who likes to suffer??)
then its a "bad" idea???? how does that makes sense???

means people that like to getting punished are calling the one's that dont want to get punished ignorants or not entitled to level up that high.

other question
so if the people that are pro penalty like to get punished
arent you getting punished also if you just level up to 100 more easiely? since its a thing you guys really dont like right?

so if the penalty would be reworked or even removed
wouldnt you "pro penalty" players be on our side of the table instead and scream
"increase the penalty"?
and the forum would be full of "increase penalty" threads?
i'd like you to experience the same ignorance you bring on the table towards the "anti penalty" players"

thats the same thing just different colour
so dont make this a thing "getting punished=objectively good"
and "not getting punished=objectively bad"

the penalty serve its purpose to a degree where i just want to uninstall the game. so explain to me how this is a good thing
and please dont tell me that im not entitled to lvl up to 100
i just dont want to run dumb 5ways or chayulas

For you its a bad thing for other players its a good thing. I think its a good thing since it attaches a small amount of meaning to getting to 100. Its not really hard its more about playing it safe.

But is reaching 100 such a thing that some don’t want others to reach it?
Because if it is then I suggest the removal of the increased XP gain in parties. They kill faster so they can do more maps. Have the party still have better rewards and more mob life than solo play but remove the increased XP gain.
I bet that 99% of those at level 100 just did it through the party system and without it they would be stuck at 94 or even lower.

Why would anyone care if some other person would be at top level I really don’t know. It’s a sense of entitlement, I guess, some kind of superiority complex.

The thing is, right now, with how the game is, it’s just too easy to lose all the progress you’ve done the last couple of hours because of AN mods in a few minutes. CW wants this because he thinks it’s great for the game and despite the fact that I like the game, I just want it to die.
People, other than streamers and just a few others, will get tired and leave and when that happens massively streamers won’t have an audience and then they will change the game for their survival.

Most people that join every league do that because they see those streamers playing and return to try it one more time and leave after the frustrating mess the game is and the death penalty is the biggest one.
I don’t mind dying if I made a mistake but when I have some herald minions coming at me from a mob that I don’t see in a map like Thicket and I have to try to find it, or the fire ball that chase you from 70 UNITS of distance, or the bunch of assassins that teleport to you and kill you on the spot, or the corpse detonator that is around and you don’t notice it because you can’t stop to check what modifiers they have and the visual clutter is so big that you can’t see any corpses,

I enjoyed the last league and because of that I spent money, like I always do, and I already regret it. Now, I might make a pause from it… a huge one and perhaps a forever one.
