The fact that D4 don't have nearly as much content as PoE, makes it boring AF. Just like D3 . IMHO

Also most people only play PoE for few weeks each league anyways, so there will be plenty of options. This is a good thing competition wise, no matter how you look at it. " TBH i think PoE 2 and even current PoE will have more contect thatn Diablo IV at launch, to me it's just about the quality of the content, in poe EVERYONE hates leveling (or maybe like 99%) and NO-ONE actually plays all the end game content poe has to offer. this game is bloated to hell and will become more bloated after each league / expansion, while in game Quanity>quality in stats but content wise quality>quantity i better for me. tl;dr Even if Diablo IV has only 50% of the content of poe but ia actually just better i pick Quality over Quantity! If the itemization is shallow as puddle like D3 it doesnt matter how big the world or how pretty it looks!
Maybe D4 will be more like LostArk ? MMO-esque game in ARPG cloak... If that's the case lot of ppl will still play Poe,D2,Grimdawn still.... |

" That used to be a problem. Now it is not anymore. You can now tailor your maps to the content you want. So now all the content is amazing, because you like one mechanic, I like another mechanic, and now we can both play what we want how we want. Diablo3 will always have no content after you hit 70. As for Diablo 4, as Darth say, I don't know whats in D4, well, that goes both ways. I seen nothing interesting in what is revealed so far. I guess I can't say they won't add stuff, but you can't say they will for the same reason. I can just say, count on Blizzard to disappoint you. ..., and I am saying this with sadness. Especially now where I am pissed off at GGG. They get away with making absolutely idiotic balance manifestos, like 3.15 and now 3.19, because they know in theory there are other games, but in reality there is not. ... and that is messed up. Don't worry bout Diablo IV Blizz will fuck it up for sure. They are not about making a great games anymore. It is either about maximum $$ or political agendas. Not about great game mechanics and game play. Blizz will build it for themselves and not for the gaming masses.

D4 will probably be very fun and addicting at start.
But in usual Blizzard fashion, they'll probably abandon the game 3months after release and go radio silent like they do with all their games. That's when it'll die. Hopefully D4 will be really good though. GGG needs competition. |
