Blizzard is dead to me. Was a fan from the first Warcraft but I just can't justify giving them any more money. They are now the pathetic husk of a body bled dry by greed.

Yup, "vote with your wallet" is a great way to express your opinion: Dont like the product and/or creator of said product? Completely ignoring it is the best way to go.

Though i am going to admit that it's extremely likely that im going to buy Diablo IV instantly when the pre-order version is available.

D3 & D2R were great.

If you genuinenly enjoyed D3 on release, I am sure you will love whatever D4 turns out to be on launch.

EDIT. I also find it funny how people mention D2R as some kind of achievment or indication of quality for Blizzard. D2R was fully outsourced to a different studio which they bough a couple of month before release, so it was literally not made by Blizzard. And despite that, they still managed to make an objectively inferior version of D2 (ignoring graphics) due to no LAN, no proper mod support and awful server issues many weeks past launch. I can play a modded D2 with a HD graphics mod and I will get a superior version of this game for free, with more gameplay features and content. Such a shinning beacon of succes for Blizzard, I just cant wait to throw money at them.

Diablo 4 :

- No Depth
- No Imagination
- Cash Grab friendly
- Ridiculous skill tree

This game is dead born, you will play 10 days then throw it to the bin.

You had a chance to play the beta to learn all this? or just an other random Activision hater / GGG white knight?
I just want hair options for scion & ranger. >.> sheesh

red hair scion, brown hair ranger.

d4 has better than 2 options, has full starter optimization of appear uniqueness, yet I'll settle for 2 hair options per class for POE at least
100 people towns with hang out fields. Witcher taverns. Free hair style options. IRO War of Emperium gvg map.

Structure of current Diablo generation franchise.

Diablo 3: The original blueprint for the next gen Diablo franchise where they went away from the original Dark themed Diablo 1 and 2 series.

Diablo Immortal: Very Low quality version of Diablo 3 aimed to directly siphon money as much as possible.

Diablo 4: Perfected Diablo 3 version.

Conclusion: Diablo 4 should be a hit upon release bringing along with them the legions of Diablo 3 fans to secure the bag, whether or not they can sustain content update remains to be seen, and whether or not it should follow Diablo Immortal monetization somewhere down the line, remains to be seen.

Graphics being low priority is not an issue, but as you stated, performance is a BIG issue in poe. It is a joke in 2022 to be that bad actually.

Diablo 3 definitely had some WoW influence in the design, especially in the graphics. Diablo 4 seems to continue taking some of that influence with the open world change. Diablo seems to be moving away from ARPG bit by bit, and closer to their MMORPG cousin (sibling?).

I'm more and more convinced that POE and the Diablo franchise have drifted far enough apart that they have more differences than similarities.
Thanks for all the fish!

Just the truth, they don't have the team to make good games.

I have never been a person of faith, meaning if i haven't personally seen / experienced it i don't believe it.

You might be right about Diablo IV having "No Depth, No Imagination, Cash Grab friendly and Ridiculous skill tree" but personally i am going to wait and see before making such statements of fact.
