WTF? He can kill Uber Elder, but a blue mob can one-shot him and it's his fault? Fanboy much? His fault he got hit but a blue mob one-shot the guy with that much armor and energy shield is absurdly stupid.

First of all - Ziziran is amazing PoE player and I wish I was that good at this game. Yet, sadly he made a fatal mistake.

His build weakness was chaos dmg (negative chaos resistance). What he did - he took altars, he took atlas passive dmg - these 2 vs physical dmg mitigation didn't make a lot of difference. BUT, when he took "100% extra phys dmg as chaos" - that was a death sentence (from original mob dmg, this combo gave like 30 times more damage for the monster).

Calculation below takes a random initial mob damage number just for the sake of multiplier calculation, ofc real dmg number is different, and it doesn't take into account archnemesis mod/critting/etc.


So:
- if mob original dmg was 2000phys (that would hit ziz for 200, because of 90% phys red.) - blue mob alone would never kill ziz then.
- But because Ziz had 4 altars (100% more), atlas passive (25% more), chaos dmg mod (100% more), negative chaos res (A LOT OF X MORE), what ended up:
Phys dmg portion: 2000(base mob dmg)*2 (4altars)* 1.25 (atlas passive) = 5000*0.1 = 500dmg physical hit (0.1 is phys reduction multiplier)
Chaos dmg portion: 2000*2*1.25*2(extra chaos dmg multi)*1.3(-30% chaos ress)=13000! chaos dmg hit

So instead of unmoded 200dmg hit - when ziz buffed the mob - it hit for 13000C+500P - which is a 67times more. Without the chaos dmg this hit would've been a mere 500hit, which is only 2.5times more than original unmodded damage.

Ofc my numbers are random and is for the sake of multiplier, but few clicks made by Ziz (the most crucial being chaos dmg multi) made that mob hit for 65times more dmg than in original unmodded version.

If you are in HC and running negative chaos ressistance - it should be obvious no to take "monsters deal X% of phys dmg as extra chaos dmg").

Yes and i still am. I just hope i find viable build and in the meantime they make nice changes, then i will support them some more.
