5. again garbo league mechanic that needs micromanagement: picking up the parts, inventory, recipes, selection, srpeadshits... why the f... player can't just go near it like abyss and it automatically picks random recipes and the fight begins??? no, players need to stand there selecting, while some mobs are wrecking them meanwhile
there is a huge demand for a good ARPG and I don't know why developers are so proud about their peak numbers, it's just 1 day peak, sustain is terrible, and why is this an achivement anyway? what is 270k players if there is a demand for a good arpg among MILLIONS of players
developers need to reconsider their phylosophies because this game will be so dead when diablo 4 comes out

Well game hoppers comes, playes 20mins and leaves, and honestly - ggg doing good work for not trying to catter for them. PoE has a very strong playerbase who stays and enjoys hard and complex game.
All the casuals can go to other easier games like Lost arc, D3, etc. Once ggg tries to catter casuals (give easy headhunters, nerf bosses etc.) - PoE will die. The more hardcore poe goes - the better it becomes. I just hope we can also get even more trees, passive tree is so good.

What GGG had done in previous 2 years? They pretended to care about casuals and made the game easier to milk them. Now they changed their mind. They are not consistent in their approach and that's the problem. I wouldn't be surprised if they will make the game easier again once the player numbers become lower than they wanted. And then make it harder again.

The game isn't hard. It's baloney. If not played correctly it's annoying and unrewarding.
GGG has made the game easy, then they went back to the hard core idea and then they tried to make it a little easier just to revert it again and so on.
They just do anything for player retention and that is it...
I might just get into lost ark for real, because POE just seems an unusual time sink lately ( and it rewards me nothing but questions when I die hit by some goo that I couldn't see in either all the crap loot explosion or the amazing number of not needed pixel clutter.)
Also lately seems that every time I check my gear, I feel like everything that I need to upgrade to be efficient is measured in how much time I need to farm to get there.
Instead of actually playing the game I just try to find a slot that it's decent money to upgrade to get that last 1% hit rating or whatever...
It's really beginning to feel like a math test rather than a game.

I usually play about 6-8 weeks before I'm burnt out, but I feel like i'm there already and this league feels pretty unrewarding imo.

More concentrated starter build sets, higher prices for the gear. I'm poor in POE and in Lost Ark but it feels a lot less painful in Lost Ark.
I think I'm close to being done with the "Too much clutter" league.

On the contrary, it requires 2 days to get geared properly. Its easier and easier in every league unless you really stubbornly want to play something that is bad.

^ no my friend, it's actually an illusion that it's getting easier ...
It's easy to get started ( I give that) but, once you are hooked in it's like going through a math exam were ever question is exponential harder...
I really do not mind the farm to improve, but every league it's like I need to do a grocery list --- > Start a league started --- > farm some gear, currency --- > start the build that I want --- > End up spending a lot of time calculating --- > Burn out exactly at the point that my char is able to clear what I wanted.
I do not want the game to be a loot piñata , but I just don't want to burn down in all the calculations, all the alt tabs to buy stuff, all the alt tabs to actually do crafting and so on...
I like the game, I get the idea of keeping you in the game hooked up in the hoard stuff in your stash, but enough is enough...
Mechanic after mechanic they say it gets easier but instead is the same stuff with some new added rng calculations on top >.<...
P.S the new implicits are super fine but again, more RNG on top of already too much RNG.
It's like playing a roulette and when you finally win the league is over >>.<<
And to be honest it won't get better because the true end game of poe is the self of accomplishment which comes with the fact that you almost maxed your char and you do everything in the game ( which for some people is just a dream)
