We had streamers back then. Kripp's videos brought me here. And there wasn't any "explodes loot pinatas" back then, which was a part of my point.

I would say when you intentionally play inefficient, and don't take advantage of the possibilities and mechanics the game throws your way, an argument could be made that you "don't wanna win", but that's solely depends on your definition of "win". If playing inefficient is fun for you, another argument could be made that you're actually winning.

Anyhow, seriously; if a play intentionally plays inefficient, and goes on the forums to talk about how the game doesn't "respect his time", and that things "take too long", I don't know if it has anything to do with the game. Not saying this is you, BTW.

i meant the time before krip. and yes, there were no loot pinatas: i was refering to streamers nowadays showing us them raiding their fully buffed maps with their overpowered builds.

"playing inefficiently" can mean multiple things:
- you don't go for known overpowered builds
- you don't rip off other players in trade
- you don't immediately exploit all bugs other people discover and abuse
- you don't abuse party rotations to get rich
- you support the game alot, resulting in too many stash tabs to maintain
- you don't share stuff in groups like guilds

and so on.

there is a certain point of progress in the game where most players stop playing. they stop pushing, is it the prices for the next upgrades?
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

Oh, I mean like rolling a lot of maps in one go, adding stacks of scarabs and stuff in the map device, instead of rolling one and one map, not even thinking about clear speed and stuff like that.

Ripping players off through trade isn't "efficient", it's being a dick.

There are certain points where a lot of players stop pushing - and that's sort of the idea behind an endgame, IMO. It's up to the player to find his own fun. If gearing farming and progressing isn't fun anymore, then he's better off finding something else to do. Cutting down the farm/progression isn't always the answer, as the game is all about progressing.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
I don't know how you can even believe in these numbers.

I can just like that see number of players in search items.

Or just by farming by myself, one thousand of players like me or streamer, is rekting economy.
