Those groups that make 10 mirrors in one week are playing the game like a job.
Honestly if its really just 10 mirrors than its not that far off from what you can get by farming solo if you play in exactly the same way (grinding 8 - 10 hours a day)
Lets see, a mirror is currently at around 33000c, thats rounded up 228 exalts. Divide that by 7 and you have 32 ex. That means if you want to farm a mirror in a weak solo you have to get 32 ex each day.
32 ex daily is easily archiveable with juiced nem3 maps if you grind those in the same way those 6 man groups do, 8 to 10 hours a day.
Those 6 man groups usually have a 7th guy only trading. So 10 divided through 7 = 1.42. Its 1,42 mirrors per weak for those group players.
So its only 1.42 times as effective as solo play if OP is right and they get 10 mirrors a week.
Thats actually not that much difference. Whats the problem?

you are forgetting another important part
you have to pay the full cost of rolling the map when running it solo
the groups only have to pay 1/6 of that if they running it as a 6man group
they get more loot for less cost
while this might not be the best comparison
you would be furious is someone gets paid 1.42x your salary for the same work with the same expierence+qualification for no reason

Those groups invest way more money into rolling those maps than a solo player would. That said my post was more about that the difference is not that extreme as people like to pretend it is.

Couldn't resist ;-).
And the extremely well rolled maps then go towards the 6 players. Also, with some group roles set up dps and defense scale super. A solo player has to make a more well rounded character to reach the same effect.
Plus faster clearing atlas. And yep, dedicated traders, crafters. Come to think of it, those roles might have the biggest impact. It is parallel versus sequential. A solo player may have a great build but will not craft and trade and loot at the same time.
But I do get your point as well. Think it's a bit over 1.42 though. Even if 1.4, it's multiplicative as currency makes currency. 1.4 x 1.4 x 1.4 and so on.
Then again, what is balanced at all in PoE. It kind of is what it is. Pretty sure GGG can't fix this one anytime soon.
Did you try turning it off and on again?

i have run with a group before. group drops are insane compared to solo. most of the time with 6 players, not all items can even be picked up. uber strict filter or even custom, and you still get more drops than what you can carry. even having to do the extra 6 link carry trick to get 1 extra item out lol
honestly, group drops should only be multiplied by the player count in the group. the game is extremely unbalanced in many ways but group drops are insanely unbalanced
poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead

each team member can get the things more than [many solo players can get in a whole league] just in one week.
