group play vs solo play rewards have gotten out of hand

You got it all wrong, that's the corporation part of capitalist simulator. No rebalancing needed.
What you see on youtube, empy group for example, has so much rewards because they invest a lot of exalts in a map. Also the use a magic find group that is based on a character with a lot of item quantity and item rarity to kill the mobs. Also they have to beat the mobs until 1 hp and the guy with rarity items has to finish them. It`s a very hard gameplay to pull off and it requires a lot of knowledge and grind.

humanity evolved this much just by understanding that solo gathering fruits from bushses was not as efficient as grouping up to hunt large game...

The MF culling BS is what needs to be removed from the game. Gear quant should only apply to non-currency items and rarity should simply increase the chances of loot 2.0 item drops and not the chances of uniques. Being pigeonholed into a small few builds to farm div cards efficiently is another dimension of BS.

Using prophecies, nemesis currency mods, beyond, sextants, etc. should all be fair game because everyone has the opportunity to do that if they wish.

btw why are people always complaining that they don't drop exalts? I dropped 0 exalts this league so far and still managed to make ~20 playing solo. People usually don't get 100s of ex from raw drops

If we start with humanity logic, then we can justify everything.
P2w? Humanity proved that its better to buy stuff, then do it yourself.
I could make many more ugly RL examples. To apply that logic on games is just dumb.

Sad part about any proposal of nerfing party play is that it will absolutely with 100% certainty fuck solo play twice as much :D
And that is no skepticism, or accusing that GGG can't balance their own game. It is just experience how they approach problems, solutions, and nerfs.

PS: I fully expect prophecies to go away. And it will be presented as party nerf :)

the cause is ggg designing league starts as races and the winners get the price of being first in a unsaturated market.

those guys are professional players and will always play the game in a perfectly optimised way. nerfing their way of playing the game will not stop them being better than you.

the game overly rewarding party play?
has ever been this way. in the beginning, party play has been mandatory to sustain endgame access.

and it will not change since groups of players do keep their members playing poe and also encourages them to bring more friends into poe.
