group play vs solo play rewards have gotten out of hand

These posts pop up now and then.

The fact that neither of those have ever gotten a reply from anybody at GGG is an answer to all your questions.

This is a terrible way to look at things because GGG generally takes a while to fix things.

People have, many times, complained about things for years and GGG does eventually resolve those issues. Its just that there are many competing priorities and certain solutions take time.
this is 1 of the main reasons i play in ssf ..

Groups getting more stuff than you doesn't sound like a good reason to subject yourself to that level of masochism.

Don't get me wrong, it's pretty disappointing that I'll never compete solo against groups for profit, but in a game designed from the ground up to depend on trade, nothing is worth opting out of that and making the game several magnitudes more difficult than it already is.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

I don't care about rewards of group play. But you shouldn't balance this game to group play. It's unfair.

I just wish ggg understand that is impossible for a solo player to keep up with teams that have traders because we dont have an ingame market. They make INSANE amounts of money fliping/selling bases early in the league. Things that a solo player basically cant do.

then don't play solo? 6 players working to profits trumps a solo casual any day
i play solo softcore and made the money i need for builds

party bonus is good!

its so good that people invite others too leech for the sake of more drops (no pickup allowed).

You say they invite people but its more like they abuse people who aren't good at the game... These types of people are the ones you see bragging about having their challenges done early and having headhunters etc but god forbid that new player picks up some currency :)

This type of mentality is killing the game, I'm sad GGG does not stop it via banning these asshats.

i was done with challenges like 4 days ago and i don't host maps i mainly run solo rarely parting to help a friend or do 5 ways so so how dose this make sense what u said? So ban good players and let casuals who can't do endgame or 36 challenges a league dictate who can play the game your logic is off
Problem: Some players feel its unfair they don't have a party to play with and that their drops are less(if you are ssf you have no argument here)otherwise perhaps there's some argument to be made.

Solution: Add NPC that can join you in your maps giving you the same boosts that other players would give in terms of item quantity and rarity boosts from each party member, These npc consume portals per npc summoned up to the maximum amount and also take up a party slot, Much like Einhar they would be bound to the character and not stray very far.

diablo 2 had 'players X' command.

that might lead to even less co-op-play though.

yes but the npc would have to also up to monsters hp and dmg just like a real player and dying so the player is left alone. i mean there is lots of risk when running party in juiced maps, and if your ssf and want equal treatment then you get equal risk

Mobs don't get more damage AFAIK, actually adding the simulate player count would make things fairer but the problem is player power is extreme and its tantamount to saying 4x loot if your builds good.

You just have to kinda accept it, you won't ever be as rich but does that matter? this is a great league for making currency as the common pleb.
