Thank you for the courtesy.
Instant trade is all I raised the question of and everything else is a longer debate it seems.
I read the manifesto and I'm not sure whether or not it's an attempt of portraying care or just a slew of word salat, but it remains clear, the underlying issue is a focus on time spent at all cost.

Whats so hard to comprehend.
If they enable instant easy trading there will be alot more items hitting the market (my stash is full of things i cant be bothered to trade and so is yours, most likely).
the supply makes them worth nothing. except for the most rare and expensive items in the game, since whats available is most likely listed with the current system.
if you allow bidding its even worse, now you dont even have the factor of not knowing the items value to make you hesitate listing it.
your alternatives become removing items from the game with a bind on pickup or bind of equip as some games have done or drastically reducing droprates to maintain an economy
those are all tried alternatives to the issue, and youre not playing those games.
PoE has one of the best economies of any game. items have value, currency have value.
Ask yourself why PoE is still getting expansions and updates this long after release, or ask yourself why you are playing this and not one of the alternatives before you try to "fix it".
Free market. buy an item, use it. change your mind, sell it (maybe at a profit, or loss) with no limitations set by GGG other than you having to personally do the trade

Arguing this is like saying supply and demand isnt a thing or beliveing games have bind on pickup/equip just as a fun "feature"
Maybe you do prefer the alternatives but they already exist. Your suggestion however fundamentally changes a game that alot of people like the way it is

I don't understand your point.
The taxonomy of trade is proportional to supply and demand, regardless of trade form.
What I'm asking is, whether or not it would specifically target solve the issue related to listings without real intent of selling.
Consider time spent chasing bulk materials versus limited playtime.
Consider whispers ignored because the value of the listed item doesn't entice the seller to "waste" a portal, going back to town.
Consider trades missed because of afk.
Consider multiple whispers spam and players exiting a map only to find out the buyer doesn't respond.
Surely the benefits speak for themselves, applying this feature? One doesn't have to negate the other, and I'm advocating for a supplement to the existing trade form.

I'm sure we've all spent countless clicks on trade site and wasted time waiting for someone to reply, without avail.
So my question is:
Would autotrade solve that? Meaning the item listed would be sold at the price listed upon interaction.
Wouldn't this fix the fixes?
Please read the trade manifesto:

Confirmed in GGGs latest Q&A to still be valid.
It explains why you'll not get autotrade... ever...
GGG has been fully consistent on this issue since the game started.
Thank you so much for posting that link!

That "hassle" togheter with the difficulty evaluating an items value is what keeps the supply off the market instead of those other limitations.
Its why our stashes are full with stuff the loot filter said is valuable or rares we think look good but we havent sold, at the end of the league
Make it easy and we all start selling more, increasing the supply (i have way more stuff in my stash than ill ever sell in a league).
That new supply needs to be balanced out for items to maintain value and you get reduced drop rates or BoE, PoE. or just a trashed economy
I much prefer the "hassle" wich is just msg the seller and go do the trade if you both find it worthwhile

There will be a solution "instant/autotrade stash tab", but retaining and existing trade system.

Lower end of that wonderful "hassle" is dipped in shit, hehe, try buying say a single map or a couple of these levelling uniques that are usually listed for one alch or one pixel chaos orb and count the number of PMs you'll send before buying the actual item. There's no "value" to maintain in that case - mediocre/starter items are usually a couple chaos tops except the first few days of a fresh league.
So, let's assume a somewhat automated market was made for "common" items, with say price limit up to one full stack of pixel currency and up to a pixel chaos orb regarding its rarity, so max price is basically 10 chaos or 20 alts/chisels, whichever of these is moar "valuable". How egg-sactly this will ruin "MUH EE-CONOMY"?

Ive bought plenty of maps and leveling uniques over the years. usually not harder than looking past the cheapest one and paying a bit more and/or using notification to get recently posted ones. If youre deadset that your leveling unique is 1 alch and not a cent more, yes you might have a hard time.
Maps are exactly the kind of thing that would end up on your automated market and there are quite a few people making decent currency selling maps with the current system. ive ended leagues with hundreds of maps in my stash, and im for sure not alone. What do you think happens when they and all the others hit that market?
How does your automated market regulate the fluctuating value of currency? an exalt can be 20 chaos or 200 chaos depending on league and depending on when in the league.
It does get complicated and its to "fix" a problem that alot of people dont have. we like the game, as it is. And PoEs success reflects that.
