it has some good new stuff like timestop/pause but in general its just ritual2 with WAY WAY worse mechanic and worst boss...

My reason for quitting this game (for good, looks like) were, in this order:
-Harvest nerfs
-Minion nerfs
-Streamer privilege's
-Gaslighting and attacking of ppl who raised concerns on forums, even technical ones, by outstanding forum users. Many ppl can't voice their concerns without being attacked, reported, trolled. Basically, nasty community.
-Again, streamer privilege and for sure, streamer benefits
-Technicalities (high end pc, had to play on medium settings or lower)

Streamers told people harvest isnt worth the time or worth using, that it sucks. Must be true since streamers said it!

Now excuse me while i abuse the fuck out of harvest FOR FREE and make hundreds of exalts off it. Just off jewels alone in the past week ive made more than 100ex.

Ultimatum was okay I guess... It has cheap difficulty in that it throws a huge chunk of rares on top of you, the modifiers themselves aren't that impactful. I really hope they add this to core but only in Vaal Side areas, would be a great boost for that.

But for me, this Atlas with the maven stuff.. kind of sucks. It takes way to long to get the atlas rolling into a state where you can start having fun. I didn't mind it to much with Ritual since it was new and fresh but having to redo this every single league now is kind of to much now.

Add that onto re leveling Heist members, getting delve down to a respectable level, lab trials, veiled modifiers, etc. Things keep piling on top of each of boring chores to progress through to get to the fun of PoE.

Atlas passives sound great but I'm not a big fan of the regions as it doesn't make sense to stop when you get 4 or 6 points in a region. You'll miss out on a lot by doing that. I'd rather we have 1 big tree that effects the whole atlas. That way while your progressing it, you can start engaging in league content you want to.

I hope next league is a more interesting in depth mechanic because if it's something simple like ultimatum then idk... I'll give a shot but probably take another league off.

The problem with atlas this league is not the atlas itself, it is the character progression, last league you could progress way faster had more maps, more map currency and more viable starters and easier league mechanic that was way more profitable.

This part sits right with me. I recall thinking "oh great another platformer mechanic" and yawning after awhile doing the Ultimatums. It just has build and destroy principles.

PoE doesn't need the "go click this door" or "go stand in this spot" or "do the hanky panky" whatever.

This can go into the "let us do what we came to do" and consider Ultimatum as a mechanic so-so but can be bettered by getting rid of the dumb platformer mechanic and simply have waves of mobs that get stronger as you agree to continue. That's just one change though. The other being a deterministic path to the boss with some unique drops from the boss that would be helpful in future leagues.
