Pay to win is not the same as Pay for quality of life.

Its the same thing. Whether its called pay to win or pay for an advantage doesn't matter. Otherwise nothing is pay to win unless there is a big red button you can press to win by paying a certain amount.

Quality of life is pay to win in the same way that buying more expensive running shoes makes you win a marathon. It is an improvement, a small edge that will help the most competitive participants, but it will not make you "win".

I've bought dozens of stash tabs but it hasn't 'won' me the game.

This is your opinion, it is completely subjective for everyone. In your dictionary a real P2W may not even exist and you will take it as a the truth.

Now tell me, why your opinion is more relevant that this one

"PTW is used in gaming with the meaning "Pay to Win" to refer to games that allow players to purchase items or abilities (e.g., more powerful weapons, additional health points) that give them an advantage in the game, either over other players or NPCs (Non-Player Characters)"

Okay, can you enlighten me then, how i'm egg-sactly "winning" here in SSF with my 60 tabs or so apart from being able to comfortably store my junk? I'm kinda slow player and i don't give a rat's ass about so-called "competition" element of a basically non-competitive game like leaderboards and such, just having fun my own way.
Also, how the poe developers supposed to make money in your world of "p2w purity" - by posting their nudes on instagram/patreon?

Arguing that PoE is not P2W because there is no winning state is a fallacious argument. The common definition of P2W in gaming is pay for advantage. That is a simple fact. One can reasonably argue that PoE is only mildly pay for advantage. It seems to me though that the pay for tabs and pay for mouse cursors are examples of pay for advantage. The discussion should be how big of an advantage are these things.

So here, is the deal:

A player pays to have more health on a character in a PVP game. Suppose, however, that this doesn't make him win and he loses to people who don't pay. Is the game not pay to win then? What if he starts winning, does this make the game pay to win? Also, the fact that you believe you are not winning anything with the money you pay for an advantage makes the game not pay to win?

That IS "pay to win", cause there's clearly a win condition and a paid advantage, hehe. Tho i fail to see how its in any way relevant to my example of playing SSF (basically a single player game) at my own pace with no win condition whatsoever. Umm, and i guess i can do the same with these 4 default tabs, its just more micromanagement and less fun overall.

Who determines whether more health is a win condition if it doesn't actively make you win? How comes more health is a paid advantage but more stash tabs are not paid advantage? After all in the above example you can still play with less health, it'll just be harder. Or like you said, it'll involve more micromanagement.

Okay, one more time, just for lulz: more health in that example is directly altering the basic characteristics of your character without playing the game in any way (whether a particular player is able to use that advantage or not is kinda out of the scope here). Stash tabs in solo mode is just more convenience while still requires you to play the game, with no immediate advantage in the form of any items/stats/whatsoever, no?
Furthermore, does it help me to farm any particular rare item, like say shavronne's chest cards, or does it improve my drops in any way? I doubt it.

So let me get this straight: according to you a game is P2W ONLY when by paying you alter your own character? Ok then, suppose PoE had no stash whatsoever and you have to pay to get stash tabs, any stash tabs at all. This, by your definition, won't make PoE a P2W game, right?
